We drove into his business and he was busy with another customer, he took my number and said he would call me back. In an hour, he called me back and asked me all about what I was looking to have done. His courtesy, professionalism and sense of urgency impressed us greatly. He personally did the template and coordinated the pick up of the granite from Hawaii Ceramic, who also spoke very highly of Rob and his company. When it came to the install, his crew, with Rob, came to my house and treated our home as if it were their own. His crew was very professional and courtious, all of his guys showed great workmanship and were very meticulous in the installation process. We were so impressed, we hired Rob and his company to install our master bathroom shower and granite vanity top as well. I will post pictures on his website, of both the kitchen and bathroom work they did. We would highly recomend Accurate Tile and Marble to any one in need of granite or tile work done on Maui. Truly a 5 Star experience!

We did a quick ChatGPT search of the best most-favored, highly-rated roofers on the Island and we chose Pro Roofers! Alex is the owner and was available to oversee all the work before, during and after. Due to our error, we did not know we had 2 remaining solar panels on the roof from the original build of the home. Sunrun removed 26 panels they installed, but we didn't know about those last two panels. Alex smoothly pivoted his team to work around the problem. Alex was always the voice of reason and conducted a fluid operation the entire time while never making us feel like a problem. He always had words of positivity, kindness and hope. Every single time I pulled up to the house the roofing team had a smile for us and were pleasant. Everyone in this company has a nose-to-the-grindstone mentality, and it was a pleasure to experience! Alex is a master of running a smooth, balanced operation....in the right place at the right time. He even suggested a fast fix with the two solar panels with one of his best electrician vendor companies. His referral company was there to expertly remove and replace those panels within 48hrs. This company was also as delightful as Alex's roofing company! Jessica, ( the voice of the office behind the roofing team in the field,) was equally as pleasant to deal with throughout the entire process. She was professional, called back quickly, had the answers I needed, and provided solutions that worked, all with a pleasantness and kindness that the situation called for. I was also very impressed with the care that they took in my yard during the process. They brought a large dumpster, which was emptied twice, and put large tarps around the yard to protect plants and the ground from the debris. Each evening they picked up all of the debris and the tarps, and even went around the property with a magnet looking for nails. Alex is solution-oriented, smart-working, and incredibly talented at moving his assets around to complete the job as efficiently as possible. There are a lot of things moving during a roofing process, and this man and his company worked like a well-oiled machine with high precision, communication and professionalism needed! We absolutely love our roof! Mahalo Alex for your dedication to your craft/company!

The crew assigned to do our roof was efficient, on time each day, and were experts in their field. If you're needing a new roof, I feel your pain. That's a very expensive project and it's hard to…read moreenjoy while you're sitting in your living room. Everything in my home was builder grade, including the roof. In 25 years, large areas of these low grade shingles had granules that had washed away and the shingles were getting brittle. The boots around plumbing vent pipes had rubber seals that had rotted away, letting water get by. After asking friends and neighbors for recommendations for a good roofer, we got 3 bids for a replacement roof, and they were all nearly identical, if you only look at the price. I was impressed when Bryndon, of Advanced Roofing Solutions came out, he didn't climb up on the 2nd story roof. He sent his drone up for closeup videos. He told me that my roof could last a few more years but we agreed that it was smart to be proactive now. Bryndon answered all of our questions and didn't try to pressure us at all. When I received and compared the 3 bids, the Advanced Roofing Solutions offer looked much more impressive. It included the high quality of materials I expected and then some. We were in business. The crew was ready to start on our roof in a couple of weeks. The workers were all friendly, on time, hard working and very courteous. They cleaned up the area completely every day, too. They used a rubbery underlayment that has an adhesive backing so it sticks to the plywood roof. This is normally done to the lowest 3' of roof (if at all), but they covered the whole roof with this premium product. They used lead boots on the vent pipes, giving a good, longer lasting seal than rubber provides. They added aluminum drip edge flashing all the way around, to protect the fascia board. Why didn't the builder think of that? They used shorter nails on the lowest part of the roof, so nails wouldn't be sticking out under our open soffit. And finally, Advanced Roofing Solutions included a 50 year, 5 star warranty from CertainTeed that is transferable. I've shared my experience with neighbors who are also dealing with Advanced Roofing Solutions.

I'm a senior at 80 with a limited budget--living on Social Security and a small amount of savings--so I had to be very careful about choosing the right roofer. I called several companies for bids and was shocked at the prices. The highest was over $28,000 for a full tear-off and replacement. That was far beyond what I could afford to replace my roof. In my research I learned that Hawaii allows up to three layers of roofing, which meant I could add a second layer and avoid the costly tear-down. Unfortunately, many of the larger companies wouldn't even consider this 2nd layer option, so I kept searching. That's when I found Dave Bushnell with Right On Roofing. Dave is a small business owner who handles the roofing work himself, without the big overhead costs of truck fleets and crews to worry about. Dave understood my situation and agreed to install the second layer of roofing at a price I could manage. That included me paying for the materials directly so there was no extra profit mark up on materials like the big boys do. That was really great and saved me even more. After discussing my situation and my limited senior budget...Dave agreed to add the 2nd layer roofing for me at a very affordable price. Hiring Dave turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Dave did a really great job and showed up on time every day, put in 10-hour days, and worked steadily until the new roof was done. He didn't cut corners, cleaned up thoroughly, and kept me informed throughout the process. I was extremely impressed with Dave's work effort and the quality of work he did. The new roof now looks beautiful, and I have peace of mind knowing my new roof is solid and well-done for many years to come. Dave is professional, honest, and takes pride in his work--qualities that are hard to find these days. I would highly recommend Dave Bushnell and Right On Roofing to anyone in need of a roof--especially seniors or anyone on a tight budget who still wants top-quality work. You'll be glad you called him.

After vetting several companies I landed on Maui Built Homes. I knew, from experience, that when you hire a builder you are really hiring people, and after just a few days into the project I already knew that I'd hired the right group. Everyone involved was professional and a pleasure to work with - Brett (the owner), John (the Project Manager and a "Make things happen" kind of a guy), Tom (the Leader Carpenter and quintessential perfectionist), Cody (the Assistant Carpenter and up and coming "Tom"), and Daniel (the Assistant Carpenter) were impressive. On top of all that, their vendors (roofing, plumbing, electrical, solar, etc.) are all of the highest quality too. We worked well together and became family - They are that kind of company.
