This place is great, though. It's one of the few non-Cash Converters pawn shops around. Or, at least, one of the few I've ever come across. It doesn't suffer from the cleanliness of Cash Converters. I say suffer, because you never make 'finds' at Cash Converters. It doesn't feel like a 'find'. However, finding a little bit of something behind a bigger something in a place like this really feels great.
You know what my great find was? An old computer game we used to play at school to learn geography called: 'Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?'
This wasn't the first time I'd come across it. Funnily enough (and perfectly serving the purposes of this review), I'd found it at a Cash Converters once. But I didn't care. So I didn't buy it. But like I've explained: it felt like a 'find'. And I had to honour that 'find' with a 'purchase'. read more
