Dang this was pretty good. I've seen a lot of my Yelp friends checking in here and since I live right down the street, I figured I had to give it a shot. We arrived around 7:30pm with 3 people. Despite the fact that they didn't have any tables, they were really nice and grabbed a table for us and an extra chair so we could be seated without having to wait too long! Everyone's English there was also not too bad which was really helpful. I ordered the SImply Classic which was only 109kc!! Love that I can get such a huge, filling burger here for such a low price. I have the say that the burger was definitely spectacular, five star material. I had my meat cooked at medium and oh my goodness it may have been the best patty that I've had in a long, long time. Although I'm normally not a fan of mayo, I actually rather liked their homemade mayo and couldn't really taste it with the mixture of everything else. But honestly, it was just one gigantic huge, delicious burger. I also ordered a strawberry milkshake on the side... which was a mistake. Milkshakes are a no-go here. It just tasted like strawberries and cream. No milk, no ice cream--maybe it was melted ice cream? Yeah, that was a disappointment though. But at least the burger and everything else was great. tldr; extremely delicious burgers, such a fan. I really wanted to like this place. I mean it. I did. With the promise of turkey guacamole wraps and American style hamburgers it seriously had the potential to become one of my favorite eateries..... until I went there. I went for a sort of unofficial yelp event. Knowing that reservations had been made, I confidently walked in, did a quick scan of the restaurant, then asked about the yelp event. At first the staff looked at me like I was speaking in tongues. Now, I get that my Czech isn't the best, but come on.... I am trying. After getting no response to my first request, I asked for Micheala by name. Still nothing. So I went out and waited until a fellow yelper showed up to accompany me in my search for the table. When I placed my order, I attempted to do it in Czech accompanied by my standard pointing at what I want too. I even had a bunch of native speakers to help me along and some how they still managed to bring me the wrong wrap. I ate it anyway because I figured it was just easier than trying to fight with them about it. It was ok, but not what I wanted and the grilled veggies where practically inedible. The service sucked and the wait staff was rude, even by Czech standards. To the guys sitting at the table next to ours, you are out in a public place, with people who are friends, yes we are going to be loud and giggly. If you don't like it, do the world a favor and stay home. Don't act like a spoiled child and ruin our fun just because you have no sense of joy. I feel like we may have been unwelcome because we are not Czech. My husband and I are very quiet, respectful, and sweet to all restaurant staff ALWAYS. But our experience here was awful. We arrived promptly at 7pm. Our drinks came swiftly and we struggled to navigate the menu, but with our translate app we successfully ordered our food. It is now 7:20pm. We watch tables fill up around us and we are delighted to be sitting outside on such a wonderful night. All of the tables around us who sat down after us begin to receive their food, eat, pay, and leave! We still do not have our food. At 8pm I politely remind our waitress we have not eaten and she says she will "check" with the kitchen. She then avoids us and clears all of the empty tables around us instead. Finally At 8:20pm we left. We laid money on the table for our drinks and embarrassingly walked away. I am very disappointed. read more

First off is it awful to say that I enjoyed the the bun just as much or more then the actual burger? It is not that it wasn't good, it's that the bun was that amazing brioche type you only find at high end places. It was delicious!!! They even specially made a burger for me because I am not so fond of the 2 cheeses they offer (goat cheese and gouda cheese) so I thought that was nice. They home make their lemonade which I thought was interesting with fresh berries in it. Their fries seemed more baked and lightly seasoned which is good I suppose for people on diets who are having a cheat day. They were still really good though! Most importantly for Americans, they actually served me Heinz ketchup in the original bottle. You read that right. The service was good, I was worried since I was greeted by only Czech speaking servers, who then quickly grabbed an English speaking one and he was a delight. Helped me get my order, freshly made my lemonade, brought my food, talked to me about living in London and Prague, even helped me find directions for the next place I was going. The burger that I ordered was really good, the meat was nice and juicy. Fries with herb salt were ok. Food is 3.5/5 Sadly, this is the only good thing I can say about this place. I ordered 2 sodas (coca cola) and a glass of wine. It turned out I was billed way more than I expected. For some reason soda in the menu means tap water, so for an actual soft drinks you pay way more. And when it comes to wine, they billed me twice for it. When asked for an explaination, the waitress (rather unpleasant) told me that they gave me 0.2l of wine, even though in menu it clearly says that a wine glass is 0.1l. I didnt ask for it. read more

It's no surprise to me that such a meat-centric city like Prague would know how to make a mean burger. Peter's Burger Pub seems to have the American recipe down (sans ketchup - this is still Europe, after all), with its modestly-sized, flavorful patty, an array of toppings, and a semi-soft bun. I ordered the Simply Classic (homemade mayo, pickles, tomatoes, gouda cheese, onion, lettuce). It arrived absolutely stacked with fixins, so tall that PBP spears their burgers with a giant toothpick just to keep them intact. One strong squish will do the trick and bring it down to a manageable size. For my choice, the gouda, mayo, and medium rare meat was an especially tasty, creamy combination. The other burger offerings were a bit more gourmet, including the stoner-friendly Cannibis, which featured a fried egg and vegetable puree topping made from hemp leaves. I typically prefer a larger portion of ground beef and a softer bun, but this change from my normal burger proportions certainly wasn't a deal breaker. It could very well have been the hunger pangs from a long day of sight-seeing, but I simply scarfed down my Simply Classic. As for the establishment itself, it's a rather large corner property with sidewalk seating, in a relatively quiet neighborhood. The menu is bilingual, for Czech-deficient Americans like myself. It also includes an illustrated instruction for how to eat a burger than doesn't fit in your mouth (PBP recommends cutting it into fours and using a fork - I say the aforementioned super-squish will do you just fine). As with every place in Prague I've had the pleasure of visiting thus far, the beer is fresh, crisp, and cheap. An American-style burger and a refreshing 0.5L of Czech pivo? Worlds collide, and the aftermath is delicious. read more

I'm quite happy with both the attentive service here as well as my burger. The menu changes constantly, and there can be some strange concoctions (Pattys made with Beets for the vegetarians) but overall the seasoning was spot on with American style. I'd say that the burger you get here is kind of in the middle ground in between a gourmet burger, czech style, and affordable American classic style. I definitely recommend it, and it doesn't hurt to be adventurous and try some of the different recipes they offer. read more

Well, that is a dammed fine burger - juicy, well-seasoned, nice cook on it, fresh toppings. Went for the Classic, which was very good and the bacon was actually crisp and yummy. The onion rings are nothing to write home about and the bbq sauce was super sweet... Otherwise 5 stars. And the prices are fantastic. Plus outdoor seating! And really friendly service. It's burger joint at maybe 50/100 meters from the subway station Krizikova. I had the "lucky man" and she took the "royal". After tasting both of them, I would have chosen the royal over mine, the parmesan making it very tasteful. The burger came with a funny looking beetroot mayonnaise (which was actually quite good) and a kind of salad (which was also really good). We had to order an extra portion of fries for her because she got only the burger, but I'm not sure if it was a misunderstanding or if a unique fries portion is the house policy. What we didn't liked : the fries were drowned in cooking oil, they don't have regular coke/pepsi but only the national one which tastes like a virgin jägermeister mixed with coke and the limited choice of beers. The waitresses were nice and aware of our needs. It's a pity that they closed so early, considering that it was a Saturday evening. Nice restaurant thought. read more

Very disappointed. Burger to bun ratio is terrible, making it practically tasteless. Settling the bill seemed such a tedious job for the waitress, huffing and puffing not to mention her lack of hygiene. Had I known she'd have such an attitude after tipping her (a pretty decent tip) I'd have never even bothered. read more
