He assessed the situation and unplugged the ice box and re-plugged it back in. It did look like the ice machine started to work again, but he advised to call if the machine wasn't working again. I called 4 days later (2 minute call) because I realized the ice machine still wasn't working. The gentleman on the phone said he wasn't aware of the service and asked me to email the invoice to LARService@verizon.net, which i did on the same day that I called. I called back 1 week later to get a status about the ice machine order (4 minute call). The lady who picked up this time said the order was placed, but she wasn't sure when the ice machine will arrive because the timeline wasn't provided in their system. She confirmed my phone number and indicated she will call me back when she had a date to provide. 2.5 weeks later, I still haven't heard back, so i called again and another lady answered. I mentioned the situation and then she mentions that she sees the service invoice but no one ordered the ice maker replacement because they were waiting for me to call. I did mention that i called on 2 separate occasions and even sent an email. They denied that they would never request an email. She pretty much disregarded the fact that i mentioned I called on 2 separate occasions asking about the ice maker replacement. No apology for the miscommunication but straight up denial. Overall, I really appreciated the technician John to try to fix my ice machine, but the customer service on the phone needs some work. They must have different operators with no good track of call record keeping. Luckily I use my cell, so i have the call history saved on my phone. This summer has been super hot without a working ice machine. Hopefully they actually ordered it this time around...

After I had sent the needed information Mike contacted me and decided to have a whole new ice bin sent out and we received it the next day. Mike was quick to the point and didn't waste my time. When I noticed what had happened, they took the new dryer back out. then they took out the old machine and returned my functioning dryer to my home. When I called the store, there was little apology and I requested purchasing a downgrade of my former machine. When they returned three days later, they brought up an upgrade - NOT he machine I ordered. But what was most shocking was when I called them and asked them why they had not delivered the machine I wanted, no one knew anything about it. Then the person on the phone said "We deliver the wrong appliances all the time because the numbers on Electrolux washer and dryer are so similar." I couldn't believe he said that. I was stunned to which I said, "Knowing that, why are you not more careful?" I ended up tipping the delivery men who worked hard and the machine cost me much more than it would had I bought it from my local store. There was barely an apology about them.

I am a cancer patient and don't have the strength I once did, being in my 70's doesn't help either. Steve was an enormous help. He helped me in wrangling the 90lb. plywood onto a cart, trimmed it to size, transported it to the cashier and then put it in the back of my truck for me. Steve in my opinion is an excellent representative of the Home Depot brand in Reading.

Turns out, one washer/dryer pair belonged to the other tenants (which resulted in an awkward encounter when our neighbors found us using their stuff) and the other washer was broken. Thanks rental company! My husband and I were going to eat the cost and buy a new washer but, on a whim, I decided to call Boston and Cambridge Appliance to see if they could fix the washer first. I called them yesterday, late afternoon. Less than 24 hours later, the washer is in great working order and we saved ourselves A LOT of money. The repairmen were also incredibly friendly, efficient, and helpful. They keep all their supplies with them in their truck so unless you have some rare problem, they can fix anything on the spot. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Recently went back to get a new refrigerator as ours was going. They have reworked their salesfloor and practices to be COVID safe, and take it very seriously. It is very much appreciated. And while fridges were extremely back ordered due to the pandemic, Hudson Appliance was really communicative about what was going on, how long we would probably have to wait, and gave us the option to get a refund at any point. New fridge came in, team again was great, and safe during their delivery.

Not to mention that it was tax-free weekend - missed opportunity for them. While we waited in line, other people just walked in the door because they only had 1 person scanning tickets at a time. No one was watching the actual door. Then, when you go in, they forced you to sit in the middle of the row (and each row was looooooooooooong!), so we were in the smack middle of a row, and the rows are tight, so you can't easily move from that part of the row. We had to inconvenience 30+ people to get in-and-out of the rows, and people weren't nice about it. We got concessions and were told that there would be free refills, but then once you get into the theater, they said, actually concessions will close 15 minutes after the movie started. And the movie is 3 hours, but there is literally no way you could actually use the restroom during the show -- people would kill you if you had to walk in front of 30+ people, so I didn't even enjoy the concessions because I couldn't sip my drink. And exiting, they had one door open - safety hazard. I don't recommend seeing the movie in IMAX here. They're not prepared for the volume.
