Wow! I'm one of those people who always thought, "What can a chiropractor really do for me?" Well,…read moreI sure found out! Recently I really threw out my back. I could hardly stand, sitting was painful and lying in bed was almost excruciating. The Husband suggested I see Mark at Schillinger Chiropractic. He has been seeing Mark for several years, sometimes if something flares up but usually for maintaining good physical health. So I bit the bullet and made an appointment with Mark. Because I was in acute pain he worked me into his schedule. Am I glad he did! After my second appointment I was feeling better, after my fourth I was virtually pain free! I recommend you take a chance if you are feeling reluctant about chiropractors. He opened my eyes to the benefits of this care. I plan to continue to see Mark on a maintenance schedule to keep things in pain free working order. Not only is he a gifted doctor, he's a nice guy too.

I complained to my primary doctor, who after 3 YEARS agreed to get me imaging. I typically had a hard time bending in any direction after walking for about 10min. I was in so much pain daily and my range of motion, and regular movement was shot. I worked with Dr. Schillinger for 8 weeks, 2x per week, consistently, and the pain is no longer. I only have some tightness at times, but I was operating at a 9-10 on the pain scale, and now am at a 0 daily. No pain like before. He truly cares about his patients and their well being, is honest, realistic, fair (even with pricing for the area we live in), and goes the extra mile for the people in his care. I couldn't recommend him and his practice more! Thank you Dr. Mark.

I am nervous about writing a negative review. Dr. Mark Bazalgette is my proctologist. I went into…read moresee him to have an internal hemorrhoid removed. My hemorrhoid or Hemorrhoids have been bleeding off and on for the last six months. I had an appointment set with another proctologist thru Sutter Health for a full colonoscopy in Emeryville. Dr. Bazalgette looked a little perturbed when I told him this but he said to keep the appointment with Dr. Shah. So I did. I've noticed that not every doctor sees eye to eye. Just like one plumber will mock another plumbers work. So anyways, back to my first visit with Dr. Bazalgette. The consultation lasted about 15 minutes or less. I very much wanted this hemorrhoid out. He was very willing to work with me and when I asked about his experience he told me that he had been doing at least one hemorrhoid removal per day for the past 30-35 years. Honestly, I was kind of impressed. But also surprised there are not more reviews on Yelp. So anyways, Dr. Bazalgette tells me he wants to take a look and does with a mini colonoscopy kit his assistant prepared. There was too much fecal matter in my anus and I told him that I had brought a couple enemas with me because I wasn't sure if I should use them before coming in. He told me to use the bathroom downstairs near the elevators and come back in 30-40 minutes and I performed two enemas then returned. Now the first and second appointment were in the same day. I remember feeling satisfied that this was going to be checked out so quickly and efficiently. I called him a cowboy meaning to me just get it done. I like people like that. In the first appointment he told me he was only going to check and there would be no operating. Just inspecting. So after I had cleaned my anus out and he was able to do the mini colonoscopy he first filled my anal cavity with a gas which was a little uncomfortable but necessary to see what's going on. Inquisitive and curious person that I am I asked if I could take photos of my hemorrhoid(s) which I tried to. He said he was fine with it. He was searching for it but I wasn't sure if he actually found it. Intuitively, I didn't think he wanted me to see it but I took photos of these purple vein looking things. I'll post the photo here. He told me before that these operations don't need to be numbed. I found having this camera/Lasso in my anus to be quite uncomfortable like I felt like I was going to poop. And it got to the point where it hurt at which point he continued a little further and Bammo there was a piece of the hemorrhoid he said and he told me he would do a biopsy on it or look at it later under the microscope. I did feel a little violated only in that he told me there wouldn't be any operation on this visit but I did appreciate that he had somehow caught a piece of it. I couldn't see what it looked like. This violation that i felt was minor. I just felt like wait a minute, didn't he just tell me earlier that he wasn't going to do what he just did. But whatever. I was impressed that he was taking the time to take me so seriously and the cowboy thing impressed me. Before I went home he told me that he had a cancellation on October 19th at 2pm and that he could remove the hemorrhoid. My other appointment with Dr. Shah wouldn't be until November 9th which was a month or more away, so as you can probably guess I was very excited and relieved someone had cancelled. Before I left the office his nurse or assistant gave me pre-treatment instructions and then late In preparation for my surgery on October 19, 2021 I took the magnesium citrate the night before. And only ate white/clear foods which was clam chowder. I didn't eat after midnight as instructed. On the 19th I cleaned my anus by administering two enemas on myself. Two because the first one didn't work good enough. I had reserved an Uber ride for 10 am which didn't show and this sales rep at Quality inn in Petaluma ended up giving me a ride since my driver was already 35 minutes late. Mrs. Wong you were a Godsend. I offered her gas money but she declined. She drove me to Marin Health in Greenbrae. Before I was administered spinal anesthesia, Dr. Bazalgette apologized to me for taking so long getting back to me with the results from the biopsy. I had figured he didn't call because it was benign. But he first explained to me what he called the good news and the bad news. Bad news is that you have cancer. The good news is that you have anal cancer and it's treatable. He said at least you don't have rectal cancer which he would have to remove my entire rectum and insert a colostomy bag into my side in order to remove rectal cancer. What a relief that i only have anal cancer which he explained is similar looking to skin cancer and 100% treatable with radiation and chemotherapy. I then went onto the spinal anesthesia. All the staff there were great

As soon as I walked into Dr. Birnbaums office, he diagnosed me immediately and sent me off with a blood test to make sure he was correct. Sure enough, he was correct and diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis. He's incredibly smart and knows what he's doing. He wanted me to start with just taking aleve 3xs a day, which I did and it didn't help with the pain. Now, I am on Humira, taking that every other week. OMG was that a game changer! I haven't had any pain since my first dose of humira and I couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Birnbaum and diagnosing me. I was very nervous to start taking a biologic and him and his staff reassured me that it was safe and answered the million questions I had about it. My only gripe with his office is that they don't call to confirm or remind you of appointments (that you scheduled 6 months out) and the online portal they use is super out dated and not user friendly at all. I accidentally no showed an appointment because I was never reminded of it (which I should know about, but hey we get busy) I didn't get charged, but I felt bad for wasting Dr. Birnbaums time. My biggest piece of feedback for the office is just to call 48 hours before appointments to remind your patients! We get busy :)

Dr. Daniel did a lot of pricy and questionable testing and put me on 41 pills a day of either supplements or prescription medicine. I developed a concerning medical condition I'd never had before that made me feel sicker than ever, requiring me to stop eating many foods, and made me so fatigued, all I could do was lie on the couch most days for months. It was miserable. I finally got fed up with her after the second time she raised her prices significantly during the pandemic and fired her. I had spent tens of thousands of dollars on her appointments, testing and supplements. I immediately went off of everything she had prescribed and felt so much better within two weeks. My health has been just fine since I stopped following her advice 18 months ago. She may have a lot of five-star Yelp reviews but read them closely - few mention good medical outcomes from working with Dr. Daniel. That's because she gives her patients a discount on supplements in exchange for Yelp reviews which they write at the beginning of their treatment before they have any outcomes. This practice is unethical and should be illegal. Note to Dr. Daniel: When you attempt to rebut my review, be sure not to violate HIPAA.

Terrible service and unprofessional front desk experience…read more I joined my scheduled video appointment, but my doctor didn't show up. When I called the office to ask what happened, the front desk staff, told me the appointments were cancelled. I explained that I never received any call, message, or notification, and I asked for the rescheduled date and time. Instead of helping, she repeatedly told me to "check my voicemail." I told her I don't have any missed voicemails, and she responded that she wasn't going to argue with me and hung up.
