Peter Piper on the southeast side has a really quick turn around rate on your pizza's. I ordered three pizza's on the phone at 5:40 and they were ready by 6 p.m. She gladly offered me cheese and pepper and I paid a little upcharge for the ranch. If you are going to be visiting, prior to calling advise them if you have a coupon. This cuts a few cents from the total charge. The buffet here is awesome and a little cheaper than 8 dollars for one person. Something else to know is for superbowl they have a 3 pizza special for $26 dollars. This is a great special as pizza is something you truly want to eat on superbowl!

    Wooo.! Awesome job...!

Peter Piper Pizza...! I have lots of good memories of going as a kid and taking my daughters. The wife and I were running some errands on a Sunday and decided to have a early dinner when we saw the Peter Piper Sign. Parking lot was clean and I did noticed a lot of trash under the tables when we walked in which can be expected on a weekend but I think in can be up kept a little better. The cashier that helped us and the team member that gave us our order were both very friendly and polite. One thing that I noticed while we waited in line was a framed A/100 inspection report from the health inspector. Awesome job..! There are several large tv's in the middle of the eating area which is nice to watch while your eating. The play area is fairly small compared to the other locations. Overall not a bad experience

The entrance to the Brooks City Base Location on SE Military Dr. in San Antonio, Texas.

Was taking pictures of the messy salad bar for my review. Someone approached me and asked me not to take pictures of their employees. I do not know who he was as he didn't introduce himself to me (could have been the janitor). I was told to leave. I refused as I had done nothing wrong. The employee called the San Antonio Police Dept. I finished my meal and left when I was ready. SAPD never showed up!

We have always loved Peter Piper Pizza but lately this specific location has been terrible. After being unable to reach anyone over the phone, we placed an order online. When we arrived to pick up our order, it was wrong. We asked for half pepperoni and half jalapeño with pepperoni. We were given a pizza with half jalapeño. When we asked for them to fix it, they still only put pepperoni on half of the pizza. Everyone seemed completely confused and overwhelmed by the request. It doesn't help that there are nothing but children working here and they could care less about customer service. The manager also was not helpful at all and didn't do anything to fix this. I am now at home attempting to fix this cold, sorry looking pizza. Save your money and go elsewhere! Extremely disappointing for the $16 we spent.

I should have made the long trip to Chuck E. Cheese's. My daughters first birthday celebration would have been more enjoyable. What a drag.

We were warmly welcomed by our waiter, who seated us at a table with a lovely view of the river. We ordered the Funghi pizza to share between two people. The pizza was fresh, crispy, straight out of the oven, piping hot, and so delicious. I'd rate it an 8.5/10. The fresh mushrooms paired perfectly with the truffle, creating a rich and earthy flavor. The caramelized onions added just the right touch of sweetness, making the pizza perfectly balanced. This was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely love to revisit and try some of the other pizzas.

I ordered the Sweet Texas Heat pizza--white sauce, applewood smoked bacon, Calabrian pepper, fresh basil, hot honey. It sounds like a whole experience, right? Sweet, spicy, smoky... all the things. But it was not giving Texas... or heat. Biggest issue? Overcooked. And when thin crust is overcooked, it's a wrap. Dry, brittle, no life left in it. The pictures don't lie. Flavor-wise, I could tell there was potential in that combo, but I couldn't get past the dryness. Once that texture is off, the whole thing falls apart. And for $35? I was definitely left wanting. Now in all fairness--the side salad? Very, very good. Fresh, crisp, well done. But let's be honest... I wasn't paying $35 for a salad. I did see some great reviews, which is why I chose this spot, so don't let me be the final word. Try it for yourself. But me? I won't be back.

Fast forward to my visit to Via 313 also a Detroit establishment serving pizza...and let me just say!! It is a must go!! The pizza was amazing (we had the detroiter again) and also the Cesar salad...our friends also had other various pizzas and they all highly enjoyed it. The service was awesome and the restaurant is clean and has a cool ambiance. It was my birthday so they gave me free cinnamon sticks with a cream cheese icing...Sooooo good!! Def a 5 star experience! You have to check them out

The Detroiter is crispy, chewy, buttery, and all the delicious things rolled into this pillowy goodness. We ordered the arugula salad with goat cheese, they being it the salad and say they were out of goat cheese, and I was okay with it. Then they come back and say, we did have gorgonzola. I was confused. So they put down the cheese and it's goat cheese. Anyway, the salad was incredible, but let's be real, the goat cheese makes ALL the difference. They were also out of my man's go-tos on tap. Which was a slight bummer for him. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is very cool, like escape the heat cool, with a chill vibe. I still love the heck out of this pizza!

Pros: - Attractive space - Waiter was fine, he was friendly enough. - They had a few gluten free items, which was a main reason we went, but they do NOT have a dedicated menu, you have to ask. - The burrata cheese and veggie board was great. Definitely the best part of the meal, although the gluten free toast was extra brown and crispy. The veggies had great flavor, though. Cons: - Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of the food. - Gluten free pasta was quite overcooked. It was mostly mush by the time I got it. I love that they HAVE gluten free options, but come on, it would help if you cooked them properly. It was barely edible. - Sauce was bland and too sweet. - There was no attempt or offering to make the experience more accessible for my disabled son. No plastic cups, etc. Would be nice if they had more inclusivity. All in all, almost $200 for lunch for a family of four. Definitely not worth the money.
