At the same time, she is always going to advocate for you whether you are buying or selling. She wants what's best for her client and will put your needs and interests front and center. This time around, Amy went far above & beyond what is expected of a realtor. We had a limited amount of time to look at houses, and we lined up 20+ properties in several days. Even though we didn't find anything immediately, Amy was more than willing to do live tours over VIDEO CHAT when we couldn't be there in person...and it still took a few weeks. In the end, we ended up acquiring a house that we absolutely love, in a very competitive market. I think Amy's superior knowledge and expertise of housing-- and also of people-- gave us the upper hand. Being OVERWHELMED with where to start looking for an area, then a house at a place you've ever been was so scary. But once we looked into areas we're trusted Shannon to help us out all the way. I had a few MUSTS- good schools, nice area and of course a larger master closet. Originally we were thinking a TH or and older home. But amazingly Shannon found us a new build that would be done around our timeline of moving down there. Buying a house 1300 miles away, during a crazy housing market where houses where sold within hours I didn't think we'd have any luck at all. Well she found this house, talked with the realtor and got in right area and did many video calls, videoing, and pictures. We loved it snd she knew of the builder snd he has been great. So it was a GO!! Shannon stopped in as much as she could to update us. Always FaceTiming, sending pics and videos. That was the best thing for us as we were antsy to see our house so it was always a treat when we get an update. We put all of our trust into her and there isn't one thing I would have changed in the whole process. I'm a straight shooter and she must have already known I don't play when it comes to things to we actually did our first blue tape walk though and she said she was there for hours, even on the floor looking for anything that may have to be fixed. LOL even the contractor guy said he didn't think there's he much we'd find after Shannon was here taping everything LOL for someone to to that for us we really appreciated that. I always asked her to think like it was HER own home. The area, the schools etc would she live there? Would she feel comfortable there. Would her kids like the schools. And she found this perfect house for us. Which to be honesty pictures don't do it justice! It is even better in person!!!!!! We finally got to meet her yesterday and it was like we had known each other for years. And I know we have a life long realtor and friend now. Thank you SO much Shannon!!! You're so great at what you do and we appreciate all you've done for us!!!

He was helpful, knowledgeable, and appropriately skeptical as we were picking houses to bid on. He knew how to structure offers that were reasonable but strong, given our situation. He guided us through negotiations around inspections and shoring up loose legal ends, and he even helped us with a raw land opportunity that popped up halfway through our purchase. I'd absolutely work with Ryan again, but it went so well I have no reason to for quite some time.

Ryan is awesome! I highly recommend hiring him to be your real estate agent. When my husband and I…read morewere first looking to move to the area I did a quick search for real estate agents on Yelp, Ryan's paged looked great and since it said he responded to Yelp messages typically within an hour (because who wants to pick up a phone?!) I figured I would reach out to see if he had any last minute availability to show us to a few properties and he did. Although Ryan's office is based in Chapel Hill don't let that deter you, we were only looking in Raleigh. He knows all the ins and outs of the Raleigh neighborhoods and can get here quickly when you need him. We went under contract only two weeks after working with him. He uses Patrick with a local home inspection company to do the inspection and he did a thorough job. After the great inspection Ryan said the only thing left he could think of was a metal detector test of the property, since the house was older and there was a small chance of an underground oil tank. We did the test not thinking much of it and turns out there was an underground tank and it had extensively leaked. Ryan and his assistant Karen headed up making all the appointments and getting the right people out there to deal with the issue. Sadly the seller didn't want to really deal with the issue so away that contract went. Since Ryan knew what we were looking for was kind of niche he sent us a property here and there and we kept our eyes open as well. When a house popped up on the market on a Thursday night we text him if he could meet us there the next morning to take a look. He did and we feel in love. We put an offer in that day and started the process all over again. The second time around we worked with Karen a lot and she is great to work with as well. We successfully closed on this house and love where we ended up. An additional note since Ryan works in a group with a few other real estate agents if you need to see a house in a hurry and he isn't available, he will coordinate with someone in his office who is. Team work for the win!

The process expertise she shared with us helped us understand the market and realize we needed to "buckle down" and get better prepared. Instead of pressuring us or leading us down a road that would not have worked for us after the sale, Diana thanked us for our time and reached out on occasion to see how we we were doing. In June this year we felt better prepared to pursue home ownership and reached out to Diana. She gladly agreed to be our buyer's agent though our budget was small by market standards. We toured several homes and Diana was always diligent and quick in getting us information to help in our pursuit. After being outbid on a couple of properties we found "the one", newly listed and meeting all our criteria. Diana kicked it up a notch and worked tirelessly through the night to rearrange her schedule to obtain a viewing on this property. We saw it the next day and immediately put in a purchase offer following her recommendations on earnest money and due diligence. Our offer was accepted and she guided us through the sale process step by step, offering recommendations for mortgage services, home inspection and insurance which proved to be spot on for our needs. What a wonderful ensemble she put together for us that made the homebuying experience stress free and timely! Diana guided us through the negotiation process after the inspection to pinpoint the critical concerns for repair which the seller agreed to fix. Today we closed on our property and will be moving in tomorrow. If you're looking an agent that will be honest, thorough, responsive and always engaged in representing you, look no further than Diana Chan-Warren. Sincerely, Leo Shaw

The location is very convenient for house hunting in Southern and Western Wake Co. The parking lot has plenty of cool shade, a welcome novelty in the June heat. We worked with Claire McCullough so this review is mostly a reflection of her service. One of the reasons we ended up with Claire was her prompt and useful communication. We sent out a number of inquiries to agents all over the triangle in regards to specific properties and were generally disappointed with the quality of the responses. Some would reply quickly with little-to-no answers and others just wouldn't bother replying for days. Claire had actually just sold the property that we emailed her about but she immediately started asking us what we thought of a number of listings (most of which were not associated with Fonville Morisey) in an effort to establish a feel for our tastes and desires. We quickly chose a wide range of homes (in price, age, location and style) that we thought we might like and scheduled some time to see them. Before that date came we changed our mind several times and Claire never batted an eyelash (at least, if she did she never let us know). Claire helped us (or should I say, 'taught us how to) scrutinize every property very thoroughly and answered all of our questions about the implications of any issues. She made it very clear in everything she did that she was serving our best interest. Unfortunately, being motivated buyers with no idea what we wanted, we spent several days trying to cram in as many properties as possible. It was a miserable experience by design; so much so that I had to question myself for leaving a 5 star review for something we didn't exactly enjoy. Well, it was worth it for us in the end because Claire empowered us to see so many properties so that we could narrow our choices and negotiate a great price on a house that is so much better than anything we had imagined owning when we started sending out emails to random agents. My wife and I dealt with a lousy self-serving real estate agent years ago and it really made us dread finding another to work with. This agency and our agent really healed that wound.
