When I got into crystals I figured there'd be better places than this hole in the wall in the heart of midtown but after going to many shops in the city I can say hands down this is the BEST. The quality and size of crystals you can find for very reasonable prices is unmatched. You can find large, palm-sized stones for $5-$15 - even the $5 ones are quite large compared to most places. In the back they have bins of pocket sized stones for $1.50 - but even these can be larger than you'd expect. I've found black tourmaline, pyrite, aquamarine, and many others back there. When compared to the sizes offered for this price at other places it's an incredible deal. I commented on this to the woman who works there and she told me the place is a non-profit. It's near my work so I pop in often and am pleasantly surprised to see new crystals in stock regularly. The vibe there seems a bit stuck in time - this is what new age was before it became fashionable. However the heart of this place and great selection keep me coming back.

It's the biggest breath of fresh air to find a rare book store owned by a woman, and to be treated like a human being.
