Dr Lui and his staff are the best! We have been seeing Dr Lui for almost 30 years. When we moved 2 hours away we used a local dentist for a little while and soon discovered there was no comparison and we are back to making the 2 hour drive, one way, for all our dental needs. Kathy is our favorite hygienist and has been taking care of our daughters since before they were old enough to get a cleaning to just get them used to someone looking in their mouth. This review is long overdue. I have been coming to this dentist for over 15 plus years. Dr. Liu, Dr. Marie, and Dr. Aaron are very friendly, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. They always make sure you're at ease throughout the whole process. I also wanted to mention a few years ago when my son broke his jaw from a fall and needed dental work that included an implant. I had called a few dental offices around the area and none of them wanted to work on my son because of the serious damage it has caused. Dr. Liu did not disappoint. He was very confident in helping my son and was able to do the tooth implant, put braces to fix his crooked teeth and now my son has a great big smile. This office is pristine, well maintained, creating a comfortable and clean environment. It also has all the state of the art equipment. The best dentist around! I've been going to Dr. Liu since I was a kid and now I'm in my late 30s and take my family here! At 17 I had my wisdom teeth pulled and braces put on and I STILL get complimented on my smile and teeth. His entire staff is super nice and it feels like a family. Their office is ALWAYS very clean. I also really appreciate that the receptionist makes a point to double check and confirm what's covered with your insurance so that everyone is on the same page. Not everyone speaks insurance so it is great to have this conversation prior to starting any services to avoid any potential fees. Paid $10,670.50 and then was pushing me to do the bottoms what joke he could even take care of the top. I have been paying other Dentists to redo his job/work and the funny thing is that the dentist that I have been seeing they (Dentist) do the work on my mouth not their Asst. like at Dr. Peter Liu Office They saw $$ signs during the Covid and the only reason I went their was my daughter in law at the time worked there. Dr. Liu is a compassionate, trustworthy, and VERY skilled dentist. He's also easy to talk to; I've talked to him about his work abroad with Alliance for Smiles, providing free dental work for children with cleft lip and palate anomalies. I've had other dentists before, but Dr. Liu stands out as the most caring, patient, and skilled dentist. Recently, I had my wisdom teeth removed. I was really, really scared going in; I have a friend who had major bruising, swelling, AND developed a fever due to infection after his dentist did a bad job. However, Dr. Liu removed my wisdom teeth quickly and efficiently, with no complications! It was over before I knew it. Dr. Liu had the skill and good judgement to use local anesthetics only, which greatly cut down the riskiness of post-procedure complications (people frequently wake up from general anesthesia with vomiting/nausea). After the wisdom teeth removal, there was very little swelling, no bruising, and definitely no fever. Definitely trust Dr. Liu with any dental work -- from dental check-ups to wisdom teeth removal, he's the best! :) read more

This was my first visit at the chino hills location. Peter Liu has been my dentist for more than 15 years and there is no one else I would trust with my dental care. Him and his team go above & beyond! All the ladies that work there have been with him for more than 20 years. When you walk in your greeted with such a genuine welcome. Peter Liu has taken care of me my whole childhood from cleanings to braces to teeth whitening! Late Monday I had an unbearable toothache. I called his office right away. I was so bummed that I wouldn't make it before closing. I would have wanted to go to his walnut office as it's much closer to my home but on Tuesday's he's in chino hills. They offered me to be seen right at opening at 9:00am. I received X-rays and doctor said my wisdom teeth had to go! The procedure was so quick including paperwork X-rays and chitchatting with the ladies I was out of there within 1.5 hours. They explained everything step by step & the extraction was painless. I can't express how grateful I am for this whole team. You're treated with such compassion & regardless if your going through insurance or paying out of pocket their main concern is taking care of the patient. read more
