If you're looking for a family lawyer who will actually show up prepared, advocate fiercely, and…read moremake you feel safe and supported throughout the entire process, Sarah is it. She ATE and left NO crumbs. From the moment I hired her, I felt a sense of relief. She was responsive, dependable, and incredibly thorough. What stood out the most to me was how seriously she took preparation. Sarah didn't just show up on the day of court and wing it like so many others I've dealt with in the past; she came ready, organized, and sharp. I didn't have to carry the emotional or strategic weight of the case on my own this time. She had my back at every turn and stepped in exactly when I needed someone to speak up for me. Her expertise and presence gave me a sense of calm in a situation that was anything but peaceful. I've had lawyers in the past who left me feeling disappointed and unheard, but hiring Sarah reminded me that good representation does exist; you just have to find the right person. And for me, that was her. While hiring her did require a financial stretch for me, it was absolutely worth every penny. I don't regret a single dollar spent because having someone like Sarah in my corner made all the difference. If I had the means, I'd continue working with her without hesitation. I genuinely wish I could keep her on for my follow-up with the judge, but unfortunately, that's not possible right now. Still, I'm incredibly grateful I had her in my corner when it mattered most. I've got two more years of court ahead, and while I hope I won't need to hire her again (because let's be real, no one wants to be stuck in family court forever), if I ever do, Sarah will be my first call. Thank you, Sarah, for everything. You reminded me what it feels like to be truly represented.

It took 5 days to clear this issue up and instead of wiring the money back to me immediately, they mailed a check which could take another 3-5 business days or longer to receive. This was not my fault in any way, yet they essentially punished me for it by charging me again for bills I had already paid, withheld that money and when it came time to refund it, made me wait even longer to receive that money. I will never use the company again and highly recommend doing some research first.

John's intent was to just bill me as much as possible, while giving me nothing even approaching a fair hearing, and then giving everything to his buddy's client (my Ex). John was friends with my Ex's attorney, so he manipulated the entire process to drag it on forever, not let me cross examine witnesses, have testimony on separate days and times so they could say whatever they wanted, hide who testified until six weeks later, squeeze me for every penny I had, and then award everything to my Ex. He also dragged everything on for three times longer than needed. All the while setting me up, "losing" important evidence, and in general pretending to do a fair job while just setting me up. All this in a "No-Fault" state, where everything is normally equally divided. DO NOT ever sign up for binding arbitration with him--he will screw you over! I am looking for people who have used the services of John Foley from Dearborn as an arbitrator or mediator and have experienced what I did--blatant injustice. I know others have had the same experience with him, so I am collecting names and stories to file a complaint against him with the Michigan Bar Association, and get him disbarred. Just leave a comment and I will contact you.
