My permanent retainer broke, and when I called the office, they were able to fit me in right away. Dr. Abas is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, thorough in his explanations, and detail-oriented, which is exactly what you want when it comes to your smile. It's true that your smile makes a lasting impression, and dental health plays a big role in that. You are judged on your smile. Here, the care goes beyond health. I also want to mention Kathy and Francis, both seasoned professionals who made the visit even better. Dr. Peter Abas clearly runs an efficient, well-organized practice. I'm very grateful to be in such capable hands. read more

I live about six hours away up in the mountains, but I still make the trip to see Dr. Abas and his amazing dream team -- that should tell you something! I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the dentist, but I also think of my teeth as an investment, so I stick with my six-month cleanings and trust them completely. They've been my dentist for over 15 years, and that kind of consistency says it all. Recently, I had a discolored old filling that started giving me trouble. Francis made sure I got in right away, and Dr. Abas handled everything perfectly. He even showed me a before-and-after photo of the tooth, explained each step as he went, and had the whole thing fixed within an hour. The difference was incredible. For the level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness this office provides, it's absolutely worth the drive. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my smile. read more

Very good appt as usual. Dr. Abas and staff remembered important details about my dental history and recent conversations regarding possible procedures and referals. I am lucky enough to work right next to Peter Abas and decided to give this group a try. I was very pleased with the entire office personnel. Tina did my cleaning and was very thorough while explaining to me what she was doing. She is as good as it gets. Dr. Abas was also very thorough with his examination and explanation in laymen's terms regarding imaging. I give this guy my full trust. It's hard to find a dentist you can feel comfortable with and fully trust, but I must say I am confident with this group! I'm referring all my friends and coworkers here now! Very happy camper! read more

Well I hit the jackpot with local neighbourhood Social Media. I had a horrible infection with lots of pain when I asked for a great dentist on our local Facebook page. I got in to see Dr Abas same day because of pain. He diagnosed and then got me in to see a specialist. I've been back to Dr Abas a few times for follow up cleaning and a crown. I can't say enough about his practice. He has the best staff and chair side manner. Never seems too rushed to explain options and show concern. My husband finally went to see him (we moved here 5 years ago had been driving to our prior dentist 45 miles away, now he believes me). He said I always thought our prior dentist was the best, now I'm saying Dr Abas is the best! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Abas for the last 8 years and I can not be more pleased about the quality of the service that I have received. His current location in Laguna Hills is very easy to find and has plenty of parking. Make sure to take in your parking ticket for validation (Dr. Abas always pays for 100% of the parking) I had a front tooth crown done by Dr. Abas and it was done on his incredible crown machine that is able to be completed in just about 2 hours total. I didn't have to deal with the annoying temporary for two weeks. Again, I would highly recommend Dr. Abas and his staff for all your dental needs! read more

Dr. Abas and his team are outstanding. I have been to dozens of dentists over the decades, experienced many cavities/fillings, extractions, crowns, caps, bridges, and root canals and have never been so satisfied as I am with Dr. Abas. His wide knowledge and experience with state-of-the-art technology amazes me. Dr. Abas is trustworthy (Have a cavity? He will image it to show you!), explains procedures well, and is even able to create crowns that are a perfect match and fit while you wait! If I could, I would give him 10 stars. read more

Dr. Abas is truly an amazing dentist. He is thorough and compassionate. He really is worth a try if you live in the area and would like a new dentist. He spoke in a way that I could tell was very knowledgeable and honest. I wanted a teeth whitening and he made sure I stayed away from the gimmicky methods and did what was best for me and my teeth. And on my wedding day my smile could not have been brighter. Thank you Dr. Abas and staff. Not only do I go here, but my wife does as well. read more

I have been looking for a good dentist for a LONG time. I am glad to announce it that I found the best one! I'm a medical professional myself and I was amazed by his techniques, skills, technology and great professional manners. I have never left a dental office happy and this time it happened. I feel like a duty to introduce him to everyone. He has it all! His office is also very different than usual offices, because you see intelligence, thoughts and caring. Highly recommended read more

I have been to this dentist a few times in the last year. I've had cleanings done, x-rays, an onlay and a crown. During each procedure they made sure that I was as comfortable as possible, as well as giving me tips on how to improve my dental care at home. Everybody there makes my experience a good one, from Jennifer at the front desk to Dr. Abas. I always feel like I'm getting the best care by very knowledgeable people here. read more

I like the dentist appt but do not like the policy that if I do not make an "unconfirmed" appt that I have to put a $50 deposit down. I won't do that for any service. read more

Dr. Abas and his office staff are wonderful. The office is very comfortable and they have state of the art equipment. The location in Laguna Hills is easy to get to and parking readily available. When needing a crown replacement, Dr. Abas has a machine that makes the new crown right there - no more getting a miserable temporary crown and coming back two weeks later for the permanent one! Let's face it, going to the dentist is no one's favorite thing to do, but Dr. Abas and his staff make it as easy and painless as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Abas for your family's dental needs. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Abas and his staff! The office is amazing, clean, warm and friendly! I needed a second opinion about a tooth and he gave me all the answers I needed and explained everything so I could understand. He made sure all my questions were answered and even took time to explain what our game plan was. I brought my kids in shortly after my first visit and they loved the office! They said it was the best dentist they had ever been to and we're glad that we switched! You will not be disappointed! read more

Dr.Abas and his staff are all very professional and friendly. He is the best dentist I have ever had and I have had multiple procedures in the last three years that he made sure were a quality product with as little pain as possible. I trust his knowledge and skills and have never felt that he was recommending anything that was not immediately necessary as I have experienced from other dentists. How many dentists call you personally the day after a procedure to check on how you are feeling? Dr. Abas does! I recommend him highly! read more

Dr. Abas and his team are so incredible! They really take care to make me comfortable, less fearful, and as pain free as possible. They literally treat my wife and I like family when we come in. Absolutely the best dental experience I have ever had. So much so that even though I currently live in Texas I still return to Socal to have my dental work done. Very friendly and professional staff! read more

I just finished the process of having a bridge installed in the lower front portion of my mouth. I did a great deal of research and reviewed a number of options with Dr. Abas. I was concerned about the whole process including the bone graft, extractions, recovery and the look of the final bridge. Dr. Abas was very patient and addressed each of my concerns and together we decided to move forward. The entire process was easier than I expected and he extracted the teeth himself so an oral surgeon was not needed, which helped from both a cost and scheduling standpoint. Kathy, the AD was outstanding; very caring and professional. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Dr. Abas for not only routine dental care, but major procedures as well. read more

Let me start with this. My experience with Dr. Abas was one of the best transactional experiences I've ever had and definitely the best medical related service. From the first phone call to the completion of my services, his team was first class. I've tried to share his information with countless friends and colleagues. He was able to complete a crown on a broken tooth for me in his office in under 2 hours. My regular dentist was a nice lady and did a good job for my family for 20 years. If it wasn't for the crown, I would have never looked for another dentist. However, now I'm converted and almost look forward to my next visit. The dentist shouldn't be scary. If you have any apprehension about your teeth and visiting the dentist, don't. You deserve a healthy, good smelling mouth. This practice deserves your patronage and has certainly earned mine. A true 5 star experience. Tell your friends. read more

After we moved to Laguna Beach, I needed to find a dentist. With an innate fear of dentists, this was not an easy task (and leaving my dentist of 10 years wasn't easy either). After extensive research, I found Dr. Abas. The ability to be in and out in 1 1/2 to 2 hours and walk away with a complete crown replacement is unbelievable! You can sit in the chair and watch the crown being made! The technology and equipment in his office, the courteous, friendly staff, the skill of Dr. Abas, and the entire experience was wonderful. I recommend this dentist absolutely, 100%. read more

Great office! Clean, professional and soooo welcoming. Tina is my favorite!! Highly recommend.

I got a check up and a cleaning here for the first time a couple days ago and my experience was excellent. Though I'm not the biggest fan of the dentist's office in general, I'm definitely not afraid to come back here again. Upon walking into the office, all of the staff were super friendly and attentive. My wait was less than 5 minutes and that was about the time I needed to fill out the paperwork anyway. The dental assistant was extremely friendly and accommodated all my needs to make me comfortable. After getting my teeth cleaned, Dr. Abas came in to see me and discuss my X-rays and dental assistant notes. He is extremely friendly and knowledgable. He made sure to keep everything they need to do to my teeth transparent and easy to understand. I really appreciate that he took the time to explain to me what was happening and the next steps/options we could take in simple terms yet not sparing any detail. Glad to have this new addition to South OC! read more
