We didn't have to drive the 20 miles to a pet store. We didn't have to deal with other yappy dogs pooping all over the place. Instead, in the comfort of our own home, we learned how to keep our dog from darting out of the door, how to go "down" and how to walk on the leash. We don't have to put our dog away when guest visit. Buddy no longer goes insane when the doorbell rings. Our dog stays now when we tell him and he even sleeps in a new bed when told "night, night". Buddy turns 5 yrs old this month. Everyone else had given up on him. But, Happy Wags told us he was still trainable; and they were right. Buddy LOVED training and his trainer. I have stage 4 cancer and my father has Parkinson's disease and my mother is 75. Our dog, Buddy badly needed the loving, positive personal training he received. Our trainer had to work harder with our family than most families, I suppose, because of our physical limitations. She readily adapted the lessons and was always available via phone and e-mail. I loved the e-mail reminders. Did I mention the price? The price turned out to be less expensive than at the pet stores and she came to our home and offered more sessions. The service was supportive, affordable and life-changing for our dog and family. Happy Wags is now a part of our "framily." We are so thankful. We miss her and we almost hope Buddy acts up so we can call her for more lessons. This really is as good as it gets.

We couldn't be happier with the knowledge and passion the trainers have. They are patient, always available after class for additional advice and truly love dogs. The small class sizes and absent policy are great too! We had to miss one class and were able to make it up by attending (minus our dog) with another group- we got to watch a different trainer and different dogs go through the class and come home to practice on our dog. We can see why our vet recommended this place when we asked about dog classes. The store is an added bonus too - having our puppy fitted for a harness and getting high value treats without mystery ingredients. Everyone at the store has been so helpful.

They worked with our dog on a one on one basis, and my dog is fearfully aggressive which can be a challenge at times. Every product in their store is something that they can discuss with you since it is based on experience. Check out the movie nights they have at the store (that's right, they have a movie theater that you and you furry friend can go watch a movie on the big screen). Buddy's boarding facility included fences that kept our dogs safe and secure with their own private area to run/play, as well as a video-accessible security system. While away on vacation, I was able to login to an app and see our 3 large furbabies (Rottweiler, Cane Corso, German Shepherd) on camera! Prior to working with Daniel, my dog, Eugene, would bark, spin, mouth, run, and turn into a high-energy dog whenever someone entered my space, then stay high-energy after they left. It made me nervous having guests over. I put off dog training because I thought I could Google and read my way to a solution, we had a decent foundation in obedience on our own, and, frankly, Eugene and I had been stuck in our ways for some five years together. I wasn't sold on dog training. How wrong I was! Daniel's expertise went above and beyond anything I could've figured out myself. He helped me apply the obedience work we'd already done to create stronger boundaries and a better relationship. He noticed a few quirks in Eugene that meant generic dog advice just wasn't enough. Because Daniel has read so extensively in addition to his real-life experience, he could call out advice I'd picked up that wasn't serving us or help put it in context. Daniel is also dedicated to making the training process efficient -- he's not trying to sell you sessions you don't need -- and he makes himself available between sessions, which was a godsend as we were working through new behaviors.
