I paid extra money for my dog to have a cot while I was away. Upon my return, I was told by staff that he has a cut above his left eye. When she brought him out she said she had to wipe green mucus from his right eye. I told her it looked infected. I paid and left. On the car ride home my dog smelled like urine. As soon as I got home I called back and asked about the urine odor and double checked that he slept in a cot. I also complained about the infection of his eye. I also noticed my dog was limping. I was reassured the manager would give me a call. That never happened! No one ever called. I decided I would no longer use them for my dog again. I do not feel like my dog was properly taken care of during his stay. Update: Yesterday I received a call from the President of the company. He apologized and offered a free bath for my dog. I accepted his apology and the free bath. The staff were also very apologetic. I appreciate him reaching out and addressing the issues and concerns.

Can't be pulling a 7 month pregnant lady around! We did the 2 week on-leash program...drop off in the morning pick up in the afternoon. They give you a decent window of time in the AM and PM to drop off and pick up your pup so it's convenient for everyone. He was a little nervous on his first day but quickly warmed up to his trainer, Dakota. At the end of each week, you go in and are given a lesson going over what your dog has learned. Sit, lay, heel and place are just a few of the commands he learned. Our walks are MUCH calmer and we work on what he learned often. The staff is awesome, the place is clean and all in all I think it was worth the time and $ spent. They also have other programs depending what you're looking for.

We live in Lexington and take our two big dogs to Camp when we visit family in Owensboro. I have also driven 5.5 hours round trip just to drop the dogs off at Camp, when we are flying out of Lex or going elsewhere. It's worth it every time. We pick up two happy, well fed, well loved dogs every-time. It hurts my feelings sometimes how excited my dogs are when they realize they are getting dropped at Camp Canine. Destiny Spence, was assigned to us by The Dog Wizard (louisville@thedogwizard.com). Their system worked well and met our needs. First, we were able to easily schedule all of our appointments in advance. Because Tizzy was six months old and we had a time crunch for completing her training, we opted for the private "in-home and public spaces plan. After meeting Tizzy, AND US, Destiny agreed that was what Tizzy needed. Destiny took charge and quickly showed us how to get Tizzy's attention, reward, and NOT reward her behavior. She did the same with us, too, because only one of us is almost a disciplinarian. After each class, Destiny sent us a reminder of what was covered and expected in the next class. Tizzy successfully graduated by passing all her classes. She knows how to walk correctly on a leash, place on the spot where I want her, come to me ALL OF THE TIME, even when she's outside, and that NO means stop whatever she's doing. Our house is much quieter now because she knows NO means stop barking and being hyper. An added compliment to Destiny is that she was prompt, consistently communicated with all of us, and was honest in pointing out when we were the problem, not Tizzy. They also trim all 4 of my dogs' nails. Peanut loves Richard and my other dogs aren't afraid of him even though they hate getting their nails trimmed. I don't know how their rates compare to other groomers because I've never used anyone else. They seem fair to me, especially since I don't have to go out. Trying to get 4 dogs into a regular groomer would be a nightmare. I highly recommend them!
