From the start, they were incredibly patient, kind, and gentle with him. They didn't rush the process at all and really took the time to let Odie warm up and feel comfortable. That alone meant so much to us. Because of their calm and caring approach, Odie was able to get a full haircut, his first professional groom in a few years, and it exceeded expectations! You can tell they truly care about the dogs they work with, especially ones who need a little extra time and understanding. His regular groomer retired and the groomer we've used recently (high end grooming salon in Shadyside) dropped him due to his anxiety and advanced age. So it was a welcomed relief for Justine and Julian to come to my place and groom Charlie. Justine is the expert groomer of the two and was so patient and gentle with Charlie. Took as many breaks as he needed and my pooch has never looked better. We never felt rushed and for the grooming to occur in a setting that Charlie is most familiar and comfortable - our home - was a blessing. Zen Grooming will be our go to groomer from now on.
