Shows you how to do it and lets you repeat it. Provides insight and alternative methods to suit the needs of parents or dogs. Eases your concerns by helping you both in various real-life experiences and exposures. She doesn't just do "in door" or controlled area and throw you out on your own in the real world. She goes out with you and assists. Our 3 year old Rottweiler is learning to leash walk without dragging us and we are learning how to help her anxiety. While also helping teach a 6 month old proper etiquette in various situations. Walks with our pups are much more enjoyable for all of us and we are using force & fear free methods. No prong or shock collars are needed. Such a peace of mind to know and see those tools are not needed.

Kelly is a phenomenal trainer! From day one, she was prompt, professional, and polite. I loved that…read moreshe considered our preferences and lifestyle and customized the training for our dog accordingly. Kelly was always prepared with more than enough engaging activities, ideas, commands, etc. for our high-energy pup. I'm sure the hardest thing about being a dog trainer is training the humans, but Kelly did an excellent job explaining the thought process behind the strategies and coaching us through training sessions. We left each session feeling empowered and accomplished. I truly wish I would have called Kelly sooner!!! Our friends and family noticed a change in our dog after the first session! It takes work outside of the sessions but it is so worth it. Over 5 weeks of training I have bonded so much more with my dog. Having a well trained dog brings so much happiness and peace of mind! Thank you Kelly!

I called a couple of places for pricing and Heart-Shaped Paws was the best price for the best deal. I adopted Foxxi and had her for 6 months before I got her trained, she was always a good dog but now is very attentive to me and is on her way to being the best! I think that Alisha did a great job on not only training Foxxi to listen to me, but she trained me as well! I never knew how many bad habits I was doing towards my dog and she helped me correct that. Thank you!,

My family was on the verge of getting rid of her even though we love her so much. Alisha was calm, walked me through the steps I needed to take to retrain her, answered a ton of questions and never asked for a dime. She was so incredibly helpful and she gave me hope that I can get my dog back on track! Because of this spectacular service I asked her if she would be willing to do some one-on-one training with my dog. We meet this Sunday and I am excited to see what else she can help us with. Her individual rates are fantastic as well. Personally, I think she should charge more, but am definitely not complaining. The only bummer is that she may be moving soon because her husband is in the military. I'm going to take advantage of her services while she is still in town. I cannot express how helpful and open she is! Great job Alisha!!!

Over priced and unprofessional. STAY AWAY. Recently tried Ed for training my two 9 month old pups…read moreand worst experience I have had with a professional to date. Advertises military discount but was told I didn't qualify as only the military member can sign the contract and my husband is deployed, he finally honored after some discussion but asked to see orders and my dependent ID. Every appointment was late or rescheduled from their end. Not given clear direction on how to handle behavior problems with my dogs. They completely changed their plan for training after one session - I was verbally told I would be refunded for a partial session due to this and never was. Decided to terminated my contract early because of these issues and received a nasty email full of personal attacks including that he didn't think it was in my best interest to keep my dogs. As an added insult I was charged for extra gas and tolls. I have been a dog owner all my life and have had only positive experiences with other trainers, groomers and veterinarians. Reviews are turned off of his facebook business page which leads me to imagine that there are others with similar complaints. Update- 2 years later and Ed continues to edit his response with complete lies. Read to see what hes come up with this time, you'll get a good laugh. I've contacted you several times for a refund and you don't respond. You asked my vet to put my dog on medication that he should never been on! My Vet felt you had no idea what you were talking about because you wanted my dog tranquilized and he recommended that we find a different trainer. He was so kind and put that all in writing for me. We only switched dogs due to your recommendation after 2 training sessions and only saw you for 2 sessions with the new dog. I can only pray people do their research by asking vets and read reviews. I've been nice and waited for a refund but you seem to want to keep my money. That is not going to be the case! You left me no option but to take you to court.
