In all honesty, we had lost hope and didn't really know what to do anymore, Kristen reassured us that with proper training things could get better. We sent our dog for an eight week board and train program and he came back a brand new pup! The effectiveness of her training truly blew us away! 10/10 experience, she's very knowledgeable and patient you can tell she really cares about the animals she trains.

People would literally come out of their homes to see what was happening. After nine months, seven different trainers (yes, seven), and wasting a ridiculous amount of money, I felt helpless. With our honeymoon just a few weeks away and nowhere to board him, I tried a couple Rover daycare places that also did boarding, but we were turned away because of his reactivity. Desperate and super sad for him, I scoured the internet for trainers and dove into every single review. That's when I came across Kristin of Cognitive Dogs and decided to reach out. I was skeptical after so many disappointments, but during our consultation, she was so thorough, patient, and confident in her abilities that I decided to schedule an 8-week board and train. In the weeks leading up to when we handed Charlie off to her, she sent very thorough, organized emails with instructions on what to pack and what to expect. During the training, she answered texts promptly, sent photos and progress videos, and kept us updated without overdoing it. It was clear her focus was on actually training my dog, not just sending staged pictures and video updates. When she brought Charlie back, I was nervous but hopeful. The difference was unbelievable. He's still the same silly boy, but now he's attentive, obedient, and can calmly handle seeing and passing by other dogs. His leash manners and overall confidence have completely transformed him into the dog I could only dream of since we rescued him almost a year ago. Kristin's program is the only one that truly worked for us, and I can't recommend her enough. Dog training is always an investment, but this one is absolutely worth it.

We received updates while we were away, and I appreciated knowing they were being loved on and safe. Noemi has great communication, and was prompt in responding to our messages. Luna and Ozzy will definitely be back!

She was recommended to me when I was struggling to find someone to help with my then 11-year old dog Max, who is in diapers 24/7 and has special diet needs. Noemi keeps him clean and happy by changing his diapers AND she even washes his diapers and has sewn and mended his washable diapers, so I can use them longer. When Max was diagnosed with diabetes, she stepped up and when I needed her to watch Max, she also, on top of the diapers, started feeding him a specialized diet and giving him insulin shots twice daily. She goes above and beyond and treats you like family. Max LOVES Noemi. Max typically doesn't react well to being left somewhere, but he doesn't even notice when I leave him at the Doggie Hotel! He loves it there so much and gets so excited to see Noemi. He loves rolling around in her beautifully maintained yard, and I like that it is secure and gated. Her garden is gorgeous; she has even given me many delicious avocados! Typically, I drop Max off in the morning before work, and I pick him up on the way home. However, I don't know what I would have done without Noemi during my big projects at work. Max at times has ended up staying with her for nearly two weeks. She is so accommodating and kind. I highly recommend the Doggie Hotel. Noemi loves and is great with dogs, has a flexible schedule to accommodate yours, and has a great, safe space dogs love. I'm so grateful for Noemi and the Doggie Hotel!

You can immediately tell how much they genuinely care about every dog that comes through their doors. The facility is so much ! more than a boarding place. It's like a doggie park and vacation all in one, with plenty of opportunities to play, socialize, exercise, and have fun. It gives you such peace of mind knowing your dog is not only safe and well cared for, but also happy and enjoying their time there. I highly recommend them! Prices are fair.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience here, and my main concern is the way an employee…read moretreated my puppy, Obie. Obie was already nervous when he arrived, and I was told that they would take things slowly with him. While I understand that puppies can be nervous in a new environment, what happened during his visit was much more concerning to me. An employee physically handled Obie while he was visibly scared and uncomfortable. I did not feel that the way she handled him was appropriate, and as his owner, it was extremely upsetting to watch. What made it even more concerning was that she was turned around at one point rather than actively watching and supervising the dogs. I understand that employees have multiple dogs to watch, but when an employee is supposed to be interviewing a new puppy and their temperament, I would expect that interaction to be closely supervised and handled with care. I had specifically explained that Obie was nervous and was told he would be eased into the environment, which made what I witnessed even more disappointing. My concern is not that Obie was nervous or that he needed time to adjust. My concern is specifically how an employee chose to physically handle him when he was clearly uncomfortable. I have screen recordings from the daycare cameras documenting what happened, so this review is based on what I personally witnessed and have recorded, not simply my interpretation of how the visit went. I would expect a daycare entrusted with people's dogs to prioritize gentle, patient, and appropriate handling, especially with a young puppy who is already scared. Unfortunately, after witnessing how Obie was treated, I left feeling very uncomfortable with the experience.
