I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the result. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, and perfectly brought my daughter's vision for her wedding to life. We worked with Mikaela who was very attentive to our floral aesthetic and covered every detail, more details than I knew could possibly exist. On the day Mikaela and her assistant spent hours on the tables, making sure they were absolutely perfect. On a more practical note, the pricing is fair and Mikaela's expertise is priceless. Planning a wedding is stressful at any time, but in the time of Covid, with so much pent up demand for all things wedding, we were presented with new wrinkles and challenges. An exception was our experience with Mikaela who was very easy to work with, making this element of the wedding one of the least stressful. Needless to say, we could not have been happier and highly recommend Lokahi Designs for your next special occasion.

They added details we loved-poppy plants, succulents, and even grapes they grew on their farm (which was so special to us, as we grew up in Fresno, where lots of grapes are typically grown). Because it was a summer wedding, they knew how to keep the flowers hydrated even in the heat. We especially love that the Flower Ladies grow their own flowers, which made it that much more special. Nancy really knew her stuff, and came to our meeting prepared with several photo albums of their work. We discussed our vision for the wedding, including colors, types of flowers, types of arrangements, and options for additional floral. We loved that Nancy was passionate about our vision and her suggestions were right in line with what we were thinking. The process was pretty simple: we put down a deposit, sent some inspiration photos and photos of the clothing the wedding party was wearing, and then finalized the exact order in the month leading up to the wedding. Since our booking was several months before our wedding, the exact arrangements depended on the flower crop, which made me slightly nervous but I put my trust in Nancy and Marcia. When I showed up to our venue on the day of, the flowers were beautiful and perfectly in line with what we wanted. Our guests commented on how lovely the arrangements were, and several guests jumped at the chance to take the centerpieces after the event was over. We also used the centerpieces the next day for our brunch at our hotel, and the hotel was thrilled that we donated a couple of the arrangements that we could not take with us. They looked stunning in the hotel lobby as well! I will also mention that I absolutely loved my bouquet. It was the perfect size for me and it really complimented my dress and our wedding colors. Our wedding colors were blue and purple, and we wanted some whites and greenery in the floral so it wasn't to heavy looking. The Flower Ladies delivered perfectly! I would highly recommend The Flower Ladies for any floral needs. They made the process easy and straightforward, they were transparent and upfront about all the details, and their pricing was competitive with the others on the vendor list that we spoke with. I requested a wildflower look with lots of popping colors to fit with the atmosphere of the venue. The bouquets, flower crowns, boutonnieres, and center pieces were all amazing! Better than I ever could imagine. Everything was so gorgeous that I was able to give all but 2 vases away at the end of the night (and I had about 50!!!!!).
