Patrons of Petal Passion... no more... never again... not us. Until today, my son has been a repeat, loyal customer because of the prior quality customer service and product. However, things took a drastic change today. Eight days in advance and in preparation for Prom, my son stopped by to order a corsage for his date. Let me share his brief exchange.... May I place an order for a corsage. The employee inquired of my son, "When will you need the corsage?" My son replied, "Saturday May 13th", to which the employee (he) replied, "We will not be able to fulfill your order because we are anticipating many Mother's Day orders." My son asked, "Do you already have Mother's Day orders?" The employee responded, "Well, that is what we are anticipating!" By all means, Mother's Day is far more important than Prom will ever be. However, when you are refused service completely, your Prom seems completely insignificant. I placed an online order for my mother, who is recovering from surgery due to cancer. I chose a beautiful purple bouquet from their many selections, her favorite color. When she sent me a photo of what arrived, I gasped. It is in no way what they advertised. I did not choose an FTD arrangement, but one of their *own* design. I originally posted a review, then thought I should give them a chance to make it right. I called and spoke to Crystal, the store manager. Crystal heard me out, apologized, and said they should have called to let me know they could not create this specific arrangement because " this late in the week we run out of flowers." The only way they were willing to make any attempt at fixing this was to go back to my mother's to have her give them back, or a 10% off coupon for next time. She has over 60 stitches in her face and I did not want to make her face anyone until she is ready. It's very devastating. I live across state or I would have returned them myself. read more

I had an amazing experience with this flower shop today! My 17 month old granddaughter had surgery this morning and I couldn't be there. I wanted to show my support somehow so, I called up the Petal Passion flower shop. A very kind man helped me pick out the perfect gift: a fluffy blue puppy & a get well mylar balloon. They delivered it right away, within 1.5 hrs. & my granddaughter LOVED the gifts!!! She's been walking around the house holding the balloon & puppy ever since she got it!! When I called to place this order, I was assured this arrangement would be like with picture minus no lilies, should have been my first clue this is not going to be what is requested. On their website, there are 3 sizes to describe their arrangements, good, better, best. The one I chose, according to website came in good but when I spoke to them, they offered the other 2, so I upgraded to better for only $10 more, I thought that was a deal, this should have been my second clue. Customer Service and Delivery were excellent. I am posting 2 pictures, the advertisement photo on how they suck you in and the reality photo where your disappointment hits! It's like your buying a Porsche (as advertised) and they delivered a KIA! I am very disappointed and feel very cheated! UPDATE: I contacted Petal Passion today with my disappointment of yesterday's flower arrangement and to my surprise, they offered replacement or additional flowers to be added to the arrangement, delivered, at no charge! This is by far the best customer service I have received in a long time. read more

Update: the owner graciously brought my wife a new bouquet and apologized. Very nice, personal touch! Terrible service, yet a beautiful arrangement. My wife is in radiation for breast cancer and her good friend wanted to send her a "breakup note" from cancer and scheduled delivery for the last day of treatment. Instead, they delivered it over a week early. Then they called and asked for the flowers back (we declined). And they did nothing on her last day of treatment. read more

Seriously way overcharged me for some individual stems I bought, I worked as a florist, so I know where the stems are generally priced and it wasn't even close. I went in and told the lady what I wanted and what I did not want, I paid a good sum of money for this flower arrangement. I asked for balloons and for there to be NO LILLIES in this arrangement. When MY girlfriend got it, it had no balloons and there were lillies in it. This is the first time I have used them, I am sorry to be so harsh here, but when I go in and tell them what I want and they charge me for it, I expect to get what I paid for. We went to this florist to get some centerpieces for a very special anniversary dinner and we could not have been happier. We were treated with smiles and a genuine desire to please us. Pleasing us is the understatement of the year. The arrangements were beyond gorgeous and I cannot believe the care that went into making them. Both were unique but complimented each other perfectly using hydrangeas and interesting items like blue thistles. So disappointed in this florist. I ordered a large arrangement for Mother's Day via 1-800-flowers and the pictures I received when it was delivered are NOTHING like the arrangement I ordered. I realize comparable substitutions are made when certain flowers are not available, however, they filled the arrangement with large greenery pieces and placed very few flowers in the arrangement. I immediately called 1-800-flowers to have a new arrangement delivered and this one picked up and the florist declined the complaint stating there was nothing wrong. I wish I could upload a photo to show everyone what was delivered-extremely disappointed. I would never use this florist again: horrible arrangements and awful customer service! read more

I would not recommend this florist. I received a houseplant with three plants that I was not familiar with and called to find out what the plants were and how to care for them, since there was nothing included with what must have been an expensive order from my student daughter who lives out of state. Sara B answered the phone. They could not figure out what they even sent. They could not find the order. (Checking with my daughter and exchanging pictures of what she ordered and what I received, there was no similarity at all, though it was pretty. Seems when you order through them, they just substitute whatever they have on hand and call it good!) I had to describe it to Sara, who made guesses that each plant was either this or that, but she did not know for certain what was in it. When I suggested they include in their plants a card listing the plant name and care instructions, she became irate and hung up on me. So, find another florist for future orders. read more
