Bark Porch was the only groomer that was responsive to phone calls, was polite, and figured out a way to fit our pup in. The business is clean, efficient, and so kind. They were able to give our Ginger a great cut, and enjoyed her. As an Aussie, this takes a different kind of patience, and they promptly scheduled us for another appointment to keep her on schedule. For COVID-19, the business and staff where face masks, adheres to no contact (you take the collar and leash with you), and only allows one person in the store front at a time. The parking situation is difficult, so be prepared to navigate a tight parking spot. My favorite part is that they text you a picture of your pup when there are finished (see the photo)!! This is a top notch groomer that is personable and provides excellent service.

Not only do they actually have tractor supplies but they also carry an array of other supplies as well. From auto care to a full selection of tools and from equestrian items to live baby chicks, their inventory is larger than you might suspect. Their prices are a little higher than what you'd find at a Home Depot or Lowe's but nothing that will break the bank. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and don't mind stepping away from what they're doing to help a customer out. Additionally, they offer a rewards program, if you choose to subscribe. There are many aspects of this store that make it attractive. However, the one that I truly prefer is that it's the perfect place to find that highly scarce and unique item that your larger retailers don't carry. Recently they forgot to return some dog toys and medicine. They said they would mail them as we live a ways a way, but the never did. They also give your pets a bath every time. This is to attempt to cover up the bad smell that they pick up after they are there. It is extremely obvious when having your pet in your vehicle with you for the next few hours. We haven given this place a few tries over 12 years. Enough is enough.

Even though I wasn't a client they still saw my cat who was having urinary issues. I called the…read moreemergency line and the Doctor was extremely kind, caring, and helpful. They let me drop my cat off for an exam and urinalysis first thing the following morning. My cat wasn't able to produce enough so they offered to keep he over night for a better sample. The following day they gave me an update and let me know they didn't see any abnormalities that would suggest serious illness and also gave her a shot for UTI just in case. And my little fur baby is doing great! My cat is a nervous cat too and they went above and beyond to accommodate her during her stay ensuring she had a quiet place to sleep and a bed! Amazing customer service and pet care! Thank you guys for taking such good care of my fur baby and helping her get back to good health!

Always make adoption your first option!…read more I'm definitely an advocate of adoption. So many puppies and kitties deserve good homes. The animal shelter in Minot is very small and they don't actually have that many animals (I'm hoping because there's not a lot of stray animals in the area). This looks like a good shelter and the dogs and cats looked taken care of, the dogs were happy and energetic. 4 stars only because I feel like it could be a little cleaner.

I was told by whom ever answers the phone that it would $150 to surrender said animal (even though it was not mine) and that their waitlist was so long that it could take weeks or months to get the dog into the shelter which I responded with "my dogs are aggressive towards strange animals and it's not safe for me to keep it" and the person replied with "I'm sorry, we can put on the list if you want" but according to one of SVAS recent Facebook posts (August 10th 2022) they claim they no longer have a waitlist but upon reading the latest Dakotan article published (August 27th 2022) about SVAS, it seems that they still do have a waitlist but now just for animals with "medical challenges"? To me, a waitlist is a waitlist. Thank goodness for the other local rescues in the Minot, ND area. Another rescue promptly took the dog in without anything in return. I was happy to donate a collar, leash, and a very nice kennel to them for taking the dog off our hands. Secondly, after asking multiple questions through comments on Facebook for SVAS to answer about SVAS potentially bringing in multiple dogs from out of state, they not only deleted almost everything I commented, which was in no way rude or "trolling" they had the audacity to call my old place of work and tell the manager that I was "slandering" SVAS. SVAS's social media coordinator or whomever else monitors their Facebook page went out of their way to go to my profile to see where I worked, called said business, and tried to tarnish my reputation. Having a bad experience and trying to learn how one operates their 501c3 non profit is not slander. Calling someone's place of work to try to get them in trouble is slander though

I have a dog that I adopted and I'll be using her again. Nice to have someone who comes out to rural areas. She is the vet that the rescue For Belle's Sake used for my dog already. I took my dog to get neutered by this mobile Pet Vet and although it was cheaper than every other…read morevet in the area, my dog now has a perforation in his trachea where she clearly "allegedly" shoved the breathing tube down his throat for this simple neutering procedure. You can actually hear the perforation flapping as he breaths. He also vomits soon after he drinks water and isn't as chipper as he once was. His eyes are sunk in and I suspect he's always on the edge of dehydration because of the water vomiting. I now have to take him to another vet to fix this issue, which is going to cost me hundreds of dollars or more to fix The Pet Vet's careless screw up. So, a sarcastic "thank you" goes out to Sharon Otto Tafelmeyer, The Mobile Pet Vet, for "allegedly" injuring my dog worse than when I brought him to you. **A word of caution to those of you who are seeking a new veterinarian in the area, you get what you pay for.
