Great for pet products, but a little pricey. Like any other Chain stores some things cheap, others not so much. Friendly staff; besides maybe the intrusive questions for buying fish. read more

Curbside. Always an amazing experience. Fully enjoyed my curbside delivery guy. He's always in a great mood!!

I've been doing business with this pet supply store for quite awhile now and I absolutely love it ! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the products too. The prices are competitive with other pet stores as well in the area. They have lots of specials often on many different items and brands. read more

I am a bargain shopper for dogfood since I have 2 dogs. I went in Pet Supplies last Saturday to look at their large dry food bags & relative prices. I'm in more of a "bargain" price range but wanted to look at several brands. I asked a guy nearby what the differences were between the cheapest bag & better brands. He immediately turned over 2 big bags, reading ingredients & commenting on the purpose of each ingredient. After I remarked on my dogs' ages, types of activities, etc., he discussed what each food provided in terms of benefits. Then he recommended the least expensive of the two! After I made my choice, another guy picked up the bag but instead of placing it in my cart, carried it to the cash register ! Someone else insisted on carrying it to my car! I just couldn't have been more thrilled with the service from start to finish - even on a busy day! I believe that I got a far superior dry food for my dogs than if I'd bought a big generic brand bag at the grocery! Excellent product, excellent price! read more

This update is for the dog wash stations at Pet Supplies Plus, only. This has nothing to do with the rest of the store. If we could rate the "Pet Supplies Plus - Dog Washing Stations" as a completely different store we would, but this is where we are. The person who designed the dog washing stations at Pet Supplies Plus has either never actually washed a dog or has never seen a dog being washed before. After giving our two large Aussies a bath, both Mr. MVP and I were almost as wet as they were. The tubs themselves have no barriers. They are tiled areas that have no walls or enclosures to keep dogs inside. They have tie downs, but for those of us who do not use these (please Google laryngeal paralysis and re-evaluate your use of collars) giving a bath to a large dog is, as my older brother would say, an absolute goat rodeo. The bathing stations are located in the front side of the store behind a waist high gate (this gate does not always latch either, my Mom has a hound/lab mix and when she took him to get a bath he escaped - twice - and made a run for the automatic door) and tile wall. There is no real door. Everyone walking by can stick their body over the gate to touch, talk to and interact with your dog and they do because people have no boundaries. Our dogs are friendly, to a fault, but it is also incredibly distracting. The tile floor also gets very wet, very fast because water has no way of not getting all over. The floor is super slippy and after we let our first Aussie out of the bath to dry her off with towels and put our second Aussie in it was like a water tornado. It did not matter how many towels we tried to use, our Aussies were staying wet until we left the store. My last irritation is there were no hooks, stools, platforms, or shelves to put human belongings on where they would stay dry. I needed to take off my hoodie and I finally shoved it on top of the rack of towels. I put my wedding ring and watch in my pocket and prayed it would stay put. We bring our own shampoo, brushes and treats because our girls are special snowflakes and the bag we bring their gear in was so wet by the time we left I had to put it in a plastic bag I keep in the car for dog emergencies and then I hung it on the line to dry when we got home. Why the two stars and not one? The employee who was working was obviously dealing with a lot of people and she was juggling it all like a pro. There was another gentleman who was waiting to use the dog wash and we had it for an hour and she had to tell him he had to wait. He did. He stood outside the gate and watched us for 35 minutes. She was probably a teenager and all the customers she was dealing with were in their 40s and 50s. She handled us all like an expert. There are MUCH better dog washes across town. Completely enclosed rooms with doors and wash stations that have high gates. The place across town does not have a timer either. If it takes an hour to bathe one dog then it takes an hour. read more

Amazing Customer service! Needed some change they helped out! Everyone was very nice and got exact change.

This is such a great store. When ever I walk in I'm warmly greeted, as is my faithful sidekick Charlie. The staff always offers to help. A few months back the food we use to buy was discontinued so we had to figure out what to go to. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with this process. I highly recommend this store for all your pet needs. read more

I love Pet Supplies plus. Their prices are ultra competitive and their selection is vast and superior. A lot of places carry "the big names" and the more commercial products, but Pet Supplies Plus seems to pride itself on being a specialty store with unique, curated items for pet lovers. They carry the full line of Fromm pet food which my dog loves so very much. They have great healthy treats and snacks too. They seem to cater to a wide variety of pets from reptiles to fish, birds, cats and dogs. I'm sure they probably have whatever your looking for. read more

I love the great prices and convenience of delivery. The thank you note is a great customer service touch.

This Gull Rd store has the best people working for them, very friendly & very helpful, always make me feel like I'm the most important customer! The variety of not only dog & cat foods but toys, treats etc is excellent! The coupons they send in the mail to me help very much as well!! read more

This place is great. I think its the best pet store in Kalamazoo, hands down. They have a great selection of dog food, dog toys, along with many other pet items. The best part is everyone working there is so nice to the customers. They always help you to your vehicle and seem genuinely excited to be there. read more

It's a typical Pet Supplies Plus: friendly employees, clean store, and a wide selection of products. I wish they wouldn't sell things that are clearly bad for animals, like a lot of the Purina brand dog foods and rawhide (which are treated with all sorts of chemicals and can be very harmful to dogs), but I'd always rather shop here than at a PetSmart or Petco. Plus, they always price Orijen brand dog food (what I feed my pup) as cheap as I can find anywhere else (and according to their stickers, they'll price match if you can find it cheaper elsewhere). It's definitely the best choice in the area if you're looking for a larger pet store, especially since some of the smaller ones don't carry all of the dog food brands. read more

Excellent service, great inventory. I always enjoy shopping there, which I've been doing for the 12 years that I've lived in the area. I shopped at the Westnedge store for 15 plus years before moving from that side of town, and they were also wonderful. read more

Wonderful selection of products for all types of pets as well as birds & squirrels. Staff is very knowledge & eager to help. Very community minded, hosting events for a variety of local rescues as well as accepting cash & product donations. read more

Every time I visit this store I am greeted by friendly employees as soon as I walk in. They always seem very well staffed here. There's always someone walking the sales floor offering assistance if needed and they always have ample cashiers and will open another check-out if needed. I shop here for my guinea pig because the pellet food is sold in bulk by the pound, and there are 3 varieties. I find these to be better quality and cheaper pricing than the pre-packaged options. They have just a few small animals for sale and during my shopping trip I'll always stop to say hi to the piggies and the bunnies:) read more

Always greeted by an employee when you walk in. Ask if you need any help finding what you want. I look for the sale and clearance items. I always find something. Make sure you pickup a member's card for discounts. They will take you items to your car if you prefer. read more

My dog loves it here. Of course she loves any store she can go in and smell awesome goodies down on her level! But seriously, she knows when we are near it and she will beg (whine) at me to stop and stock up on her snacks. I like the fact that they have huuuuge pig ears (twice the size of the flimsy ones they sell at meijers) and they're reasonably priced too. They're a little on the higher end for the packaged snacks so i'll usually wait until they're on sale elsewhere. read more
