The store is really great although they don't have all product compared to other pet stores they always try their best they have the product for the right customer and not only that but their employees are the best they always try to help out customers the best they can while the same time focusing on the job even the managers are like that too like Alex who is not only a good manager but a great leader too has some of the best knowledge for fish and reptiles, but there's also could be said about the stock workers and cashiers themselves like for example I met this one stock worker Name Kolten who despite working always has a little time to chat with customers see how they're doing if they need help with anything while at the same timeand who's willing to help others no matter the best he can although his knowledge is not great he always tries his best no matter what and also a real gentleman too as he told me and he always tries to put 100% effort into work and very helpful with his coworkers and specially his boss as he says but still think the other employees are amazing too and helpful also the owner is really great who's willing to help out and get her hands dirty if need be she's the nicely you'll ever meet and I highly recommend if she's there meeting her her name is Elizabeth so I highly recommend this store to new customers and most importantly the people who love their pets bring them in too the employees will love them so much help you not only for your pet but for you too give you the best recommendations ever read more

Very helpful and friendly staff. It is a very clean store, they have a great selection of products, and very good pricing. Our dog loves the Redford brand dog foods, both dry and wet. The other thing that impressed me is on several occassions I have seen how wonderful the Manager and Asst Store manager are with their staff. You can tell the staff likes working here. read more

Great prices, you have everything that I need, and your staff is so helpful and friendly!!!

I'm in this pet store nearly weekly. They have memorized the names of my animals and are always in stock of the things that I need. Most that alone is reason to continue coming, the reason I love this place so much is the quality of care they give to their animals. I've been shopping here since 23 and I have no need to shop anywhere else for my cat supplies read more

This store in Chesterfield, is always clean and the workers here are always nice and helpful. People like Ava that rang me up are so friendly and offer to help all the time. Always a good experience here. read more

Take advantage of the plus program to save some money on food, accessories, or litter. They also have some steals and deals on the back of aisles I noticed. I was looking at an end cap and they had wet dog food for 90% off. There was so many left on the end cap because no one else noticed them. One amazing thing about this store is that they have a self serve dog wash. I have two big dogs, a german shepherd and a chocolate lab. The shepherd leaves so much hair in my bath tub and makes such a huge mess. This place has a special deal called the dirty dog discount. Typically washes are $10 per visit, however you can purchase this discount up front at the register. It gives you five washes for $25, which is half the price. This is a life saver for me because I can wash them, use shampoo at the store, and air dry them without them making a huge mess in my bathroom. This is one of the cheapest options, as dog grooming can be expensive. If you do want to pamper your dog, they still have amazing and cheap prices for grooming too. You can find the prices online and compare them to other places. read more

PSP Chesterfield is the best pet store in Metro Detroit! Their staff goes above and beyond, they offer and accept amazing coupons, and their shelves are always stocked! We got a dog last fall and they walked us through every question we had from healthy (& surprisingly affordable) food to toys, treats, and even which hairbrush! read more

My dog loves getting groomed at Pet Supplies Plus. Tami is so kind and professional and does such a great job on Cooper. We love her!!

Stopped in to get some special dietary dog food, for my two rescues. They didn't carry any of it but were very kind enough to tell me where I could find it. Thanks for the help you don't how appreciated it was. read more

This location never has the Stella and Chewy frozen patties in Chicken flavor when I go to grab more food for my dogs. This means I have to drive all over town to other Pet Supplies Plus to find what I need for my picky eater. Additionally, when I buy a different flavor in the raw patties, it is obvious that they were left out and thawed before being put in the freezer to sell to customers. This makes the quality of the food horrible, freezer burned, crystalized and stuck together. I will no longer shop at this location anymore, I have made mention about the lack of stock to staff, and the freezer burn, it has not made any difference. Management obviously does not care about the quality of their final product. read more

Can someone from cooperate verify your dog wash closes at 8pm.. Or are the employees just saying that because they don't feel like dealing with it an hour before you close? I have never been told this before. Nor does it state this on my punch card. And it's not listed on the dog wash door. read more

Been going to this location for about 10 years. They are always wonderful and helpful. Never met one rude employee. Been using the groomers for about 3 years now and Tami is the best, i won't trust my Charlie to be groomed by anyone else. I have no idea if the guy who gave the one star was just having a bad day or what but his review is inaccurate! read more

Tammy is our pups groomer. She is great, takes her time with the pups, they always look and smell great. Prices are reasonable with the pet club. Satisfied customer! read more

Great store! The employees are always friendly and helpful! I recently did a curbside order and when I arrived the store was closed (holiday hours). As I got in my car to leave the manager came out and asked me what I needed. He brought my order out to me even though it was after hours! I was very thankful. Such thoughtful staff! read more

PSP is a fun place to shop and some of the locations offer dog grooming.. Some of their managers are really helpful. The stores I've been to have been kept clean and don't have a raunchy smell like some pet stores do. I enjoy shopping at PSP stores. read more

I've shopped here for years and always enjoyed sharing knowledge and stories, shopping for my animals for the best I can give them. The last couple of years, they are struggling. I can rarely get the food I need even when they special order it! The staff is friendly but not very helpful. they used to be the best. read more

We have taken our pets to several places for grooming. This is by far my favorite place. Tami is amazing. You can tell she enjoys being with animals. Other places I have taken my dog to for furmination left him with scabs. Ringo has gone to Tami multiple times and not one scab. In addition the last time I went in my dog left a present in the parking lot. I asked the manager for a bag so I could clean up the mess. Instead he told me not to worry and immediately went out and cleaned it up. read more

Everyone at this store is so helpful and friendly. Sheila and Elizabeth in the grooming salon take such good care of my dogs. They do not over book animals for grooming. I take my dogs and they give each of them 100% attention. They do not sit in a cage for hours to be groomed like other grooming salons. Wendy read more

First check in on the Yelp App - sometimes they have a yelp check in discount coupon that will pop up! 2nd join the free pet supplies plus card club to get extra discounts. They have a great selection and match chewey or amazon - really any price. However, I compared and everything here was already cheaper. The cat litter was $3 less than Costsco and the cat snacks 1.50 less thank amazon. Made me feel valued! Really nice team of associates working the floor as well - is now my go to for pet supplies! read more

First time we've used the do it yourself dog wash. Towels were stained yellow had lint all over them. One of the stations didn't even work so only one was open. The shampoo was liquid and the "oatmeal shampoo" smelled rancid like spoiled eggs. There was dog waste in the tub. Water and dog hair all over the floor. No leash to keep the dog in the tub. It smelled gross and was very humid in the room. Don't recommend washing your dog here it isn't very clean and sanitary. read more

Great staff , great groomers , very reasonable price . The store is always clean and the prices are always marked correct

If I could give no stars I would. This is the 4th time we took our Sheltie there to be groomed. The first 2 times we were pleased but this time I actually feel obligated to warn customers it was that bad. I have updated this review and improved my rating to 3 stars as I was contacted by the store after I posted my review. They expressed their concern for my disappointment, took my complaint seriously and did provide me with a refund. read more

Always friendly and helpful. We often find our pet's food on sale here, which makes us happy.

This is our go to place for pet food, supplies and the do it yourself dog bathing station. They sell cards...5 washes for $25! I only have one medium sized dog, but I have seen people wash two or three small dogs in the time it gives you for one wash! I have used the grooming department a couple times, only for ear cleanings and mail trimmings. No complaints here! It is always VERY CLEAN, even the bathrooms. I have stopped there just to use the restroom before. Most of the staff is very friendly, and they are all helpful! The the prices can't be beat, because they'll price match! I have been to the location on Garfield Road in Clinton Twp several tmes, and it doesn't compare. Good job PSP of Chesterfield read more

They sell gift cards that do not work on their register scanners. Even though I had proof it had $50.00 on it, the manager refused to allow me to use it unless I could prove it was purchased at that store. read more

I had a issue with a product and the return, the sales person wasn't to honest with me. I properly went to cooperate and than dealt with the manger of this store, who went beyond his need and helped fix the issue. The manger was a very nice gentleman who I could tell was very unhappy with the staff treatment and would make sure it wouldn't happen again!! I definitely have been back & will go back!! read more

Almost no regular" canned dog food (1 brand). I got the vibe that I was bothering them. I remember the days when I could ask someone if they had a particular item & the employee was interested in what you needed. This is one of the "If it's not on the shelf, we don't have it" places. How about "Lets look."? There were abt 3 other people in the entire store & no one else in line, could he have taken a minute to look with me?(Guess that was not this store's style). Might have been just the moment a new customer, new to the area, would have decided to come back. The layout was... I'm not sure, suffice to say, the plan is for a customer to walk around every isle I guess. If you prefer ridiculously overpriced wet food - this is your place, not for senior citizens on a pension. Guess I'm just too ordinary for Organic Everything. read more

As the other reviewers said, this place is very well kept. I go there to use the self-service Dog Wash. Every time I've been there it has been spotless. The staff does a great job of cleaning up after customers and keeping the store looking its best. I can't speak too much on their selection of other pet supplies, because we only go there for the wash but from walking from the front to the back of the store it looks very well stocked and has very good selections. So if you live in the area this is probably one of the nicest pet supply stores around. read more
