Our expectations for level of care are high and we have never been disappointed with the service or care shown to our dog. In fact, we often tell them just how grateful we are to have found them. The…read moreladies on staff from the phone to the front desk to the vet assistant to the vet herself were so kind and empathetic! They were calm and kind while I was panicking. When we got there, they got her back fairly quickly. The vet tech's energy was so kind and calm, despite being a very anxious husky, scared, and in pain, our dog let her pick her up and carry her back to get started. She HATES being picked up. That was VERY telling. Both the vet tech and the vet were incredibly reassuring while being honest and informative. They drew up two different treatment plans and walked us through both so we could make an informed decision and factor in our budget and our dog's needs. When we picked her up, the aftercare instructions were clear and very informative, no guessing. They even cleaned my dog up the best they could without hurting her. She came home smelling better than she did when we picked her up from the spay! The fact that they took the time to tidy up her legs, paws, and tail, even though it wasn't required is telling. You can tell they babied her, loved on her, and took amazing care of her. While I hope to never need them again, if our pets were in need, we wouldn't hesitate to go back. It was pricey, but it's emergency veterinary care in the middle of the night, and well worth the money, in my opinion.

Now mind you, my dog was only eight months old at the time. We took her to our vet who said that they wanted to put her on drugs first so that she'd be really calm before they would even try it even though they did it once and she was great by them given her cheese, but they refuse to do it. Then we've heard about this place. We called and spoke to someone who told us Mariah the groomer liked a challenge and that if they couldn't do the job they wouldn't charge you. So I made an appointment with Maria to bring our German Shepherd puppy and who is now 10 months old for a full grooming and her nails cut. Mariah asked us to stay for the first 10 minutes to make sure the dog was OK and to leave her with her for an hour. She walked the dog around on the leash, showed her everything and then got her ready to be groomed. She did an excellent job! I was so thankful to find her. Everybody in the store is super nice. Heritage Animal hospital has always been amazing with my shih tzu Maybell, I've been taking her…read morethere ever since I've had her since she was a puppy and she's 2 and a half now. all of her check ups, her shots and vaccine, when she was spayed and chipped, for ear infection, when she was sick, one time when she was smaller she got a hold of something and ate it and it was lodged and she couldn't breathe or pass it or throw it up I thought she was going to die and was so scare. I rushed her there, they kept her all that day and overnight and kept me constantly updated and they saved her life, I will be forever grateful to them for that. the staff and the doctors there are always so friendly and caring and take the very best care of our fur babies and I highly recommend them. this is totally unrelated but I had another dog a big golden doodle Nala and she would sometimes sneak outside, we were also fostering her sister Luna as well and she was very mischievous and she was the one that would always run out the door and Nala would follow her. anyway we had the worst neighbors that apparently didn't like animals or people or anything for that matter and just wanted to complain about every little thing in the neighborhood, they wouldn't come to you personally but call animal control for no reason. ok trying to make a long story short here, someone poisoned my dog yes my big beautiful gorgeous golden doodle Nala and whatever it was, was meant to kill her because she almost died instantly. seeing her lay there in extreme pain and suffer and not be able to help her or do anything was the absolute worst helpless feeling in the world, I took her body to heritage to be cremated and they were the absolute kindest and most caring and compassionate and handled her with the upmost care and when I went to pick up her ashes she was in a beautiful wooden box.
