I foster for a local cat rescue. I took in one of the fosters for a rabies shot and nail trim. I…read moreinformed the tech that the cat didn't like to be handled and advised him to wear gloves. He did not listen to my advice and ended up getting bitten. As a result, the poor cat, who was already traumatized, had to be quarantined for ten days, adding to his trauma. Then, on top of that, he was only given a 1 year rabies shot so next year he will have to go through it all over again.
