I've used it for daily walks and for pet sitting while I'm traveling. My dog is much happier after the daily visits. The pictures that have been taken during the walks are very amusing and fun to share with friends. I find the daily visits have made my dog more sociable and the walker has never missed a visit. I feel very confident that my pup will be taken care of when I'm traveling. I get a summary of all the antics when I return and it's always a joy to read. It's nice to know that I have a professional and caring pet sitter when I travel. I have no worries about the care that my dog receives and it allows me to enjoy my trip more since I know my pet is in good hands. Vero Beach Pet Sitters has always been there when I've needed a last minute walk due to working late or appointments. It's nice to know that a walk can be worked in at a moment's notice. Her issue was trusting humans not so much other dogs. If Kim or Sean saw something off or wrong with how the dog was responding to other dogs or the handler, the proper steps would to be to stop or slow down the introduction. Rather than putting a scared dog in a situation where it could potentially bite someone out of fear, they took the steps to protect the dog and others from getting hurt. Once a dog has bit someone it will do it again, because what was scaring it move away after it was bit. The dog now thinks to itself "Hey that worked! I'm bite every time I'm scared to get it to stop and go away." Also when a dog has bitten someone the dog could be deemed as "Dangerous" according to Code of Ordinance section 302.09 (2). Working in the Animal/Pet care profession can be very stressful and for the most part the public does not see that. We work with animals on a daily basis and deal with worried and concerned pet owners who at times are not educated and use opinions biased on limited experience.

Now suddenly one of them isn't welcome anymore (thanks to the returning management)? So what about your temperament test which my "risky" breed already passed? Clearly you don't trust those? So why should I trust leaving my dogs with you, in that case? Or maybe you just smelled a way to double your rates for my "risky" breed since you couldn't sell me on a membership renewal. Oh, and put your "policies" on your website (and let your staff know about them too) if you "have to stick to them." That way you can ask for more money BEFORE someone cancels their other reservations on a holiday week. At a minimum, try to catch them before they drop their dogs off and get all the way home. I'll calls it like I sees it on this place: breed discrimination.

We recently got our dog back from Paws Unleashed after a three week board and train. I cannot say…read moreenough kind words about the hard work, dedication, and care they put in with our dog Kai. We have a cattle dog/GSD mix who has a strong prey drive and would lunge at about anything moving while on walks and freak out when people would come to the door or we would get a delivery at the house. We reached out to Ray and then got to work right away. The changes in Kai are so astonishing to see, he has become a different dog in the best ways possible. They set us up with all the tools and training we need to continue Kai's success and I am just so impressed. He is calm when we leash him up, he is in tune with us, he knows how to practice place while inside and calmly greet people, and while he still has work to do and try's to get away with things sometimes; things like bikes/golf carts on walks are no longer such a stressful situation and we can help guide him through his anxiety and continue on our way. They were also great in keeping us updated, sending videos and pictures which help put me at ease and it was fun to see his progress each week. The only thing I wish is that we did this sooner. We are excited to go more places with our dog & have the confidence and tools now to do so successfully. And it's great knowing we can call them anytime we need help going forward! So much thanks to Ray and Edgar!
