We gave it a try and I was blown away at how organized and professional they were. The owner reached out and scheduled a meet and greet with Brieon and I instantly knew, she was going to be great! We have been so happy with the care and attention they give our fur baby and even send pictures and recaps about the walk daily! It's the little touches that really cemented great this company is. Andrea, Brieon and Dan (fills in when Brieon is on a much deserved break or time off,) are amazing. My second experience was not nearly as great. I had a different sitter. She was late to the meet and greet because she mixed up appointments (not terrible, it happens), she didn't send me daily updates, so I got worried and had to ask my brother to reach out to her on two separate occasions which stressed me out. Lastly, she kept my house key for months. I emailed twice to ask for the key back and I didn't get a response to either email. I contacted Jaime and she was very prompt and got it resolved immediately. I love my pet like a family member, which makes me anxious when I have to leave her. If you're a person who doesn't need daily updates while away on vacation, you'd probably be fine with the second sitter. After that experience, I chose to work with a different company.

I have used Philly Fit Dog to walk both my large dogs twice a day, 5x a week for about a 1 year now…read moreand I absolutely love and trust them, and there's nothing more important between a dog owner and the dog walker/sitter than trust! Let me summarize the main reasons why you should hire them. 1) They are VERY RESPONSIVE, there's nothing more frustrating than needing to make changes to your walk or book a walk for a last minute weekend and no one is responding. Whitney responds very fast and always does her best to fulfill your needs. She is very professional and has never let me down. 2) Walkers that pay attention and are attentive. I have had about three consistent walkers and they all follow the very specific long and detailed instructions I leave for my pups. Especially Bridget, she is wonderful and so caring with my dogs! 3) Petcheck technology, you can easily schedule/change, track the walk, view the walk report card, and see pictures from the walk. I also leave instructions and building codes on here, it's very easy to use and seems like Whitney checks it very often when you requests new walks. You can also leave notes for the walker that day, this is useful if there are minor changes or if you just need to leave a FYI for your walker. Let me tell you, I have gone through my share of crappy, inconsistent, dog walkers, and it can be very frustrating, but with Philly Fit Dog I can go to work with the peace of mind that my pups will be in good hands, and I can't say how big of a relief that has been. Thank you Philly Fit dog!!
