I had an amazing experience boarding my dogs, Whitney and Starr, at Pet Paradise! From the moment I walked in, I could tell the dogs were having a great time. Seeing them happily playing and entertaining themselves in the pool immediately put my mind at ease. The staff was incredibly attentive, caring, and professional throughout the entire stay. I also loved how conveniently located the facility is near my home, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of care provided. As an added bonus, they offer grooming and other services, making it a one-stop destination for pet care. One of my favorite touches was receiving a report card with photos of my precious fur babies looking happy, relaxed, and content while I was away. It was wonderful to see how well they were being cared for. I highly recommend Pet Paradise to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and caring place to board their pets. Whitney and Starr will definitely be back, and I will absolutely be booking with Pet Paradise again! read more

We took our newly adopted puppy here for an overnight. Walking in for the first time it was very clean and check-in was organized. We received photo updates and a report card which we loved. We could watch him during his play times on the live cameras. We felt very comfortable leaving him and plan to do so for a longer trip in the future. read more

Pet Paradise Ocala - Pet Boarding Near Me - Ocala, Florida

I have boarded my cat here and everyone is wonderful!!! I always feel good when I leave my kitty with them.

The front desk is a disaster. The groomer jasmine is awful doesn't come out to take the dog or when you pick them up. First grooming she sent my 13vyear old Rudy with a cut on his foot did not tell us.My second visit with my 4 year old she old did half of the full treatment we paid for never seen her now we know why no triim ears tail and no brush on either. Ended up trying to trim her tail ourselves nip her tail with scissors would not stop bleeding had to cut a pice of tail off to stop bleeding cost us $400. Will never go back or recomend their services seen other complaints about this groomer on other review's read more

I've used Pet Paradise four times and each experience has been positive. The last time my dogs were groomed was the best haircut and nails they've had from any groomer. When I board my dogs, I know they will be kept safe and in a clean environment. Pet Paradise seems to have great protocols to keep the dogs safe and that is what is most important to me. read more

excellent job with my pets with real time viewing during activities. provided a summary, like a report card on my pets. great job.

The only good thing I can say, is at least my babies didn't contract kennel cough like the other reviews had said. Aside from that, BELIEVE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS! While they have webcams, they're only in a select handful of "convenient" places. If your fur baby is not outdoors or in the ONE indoor area, you're not going to see them the entire visit which was unbeknownst to me. There was no view into their kennel to see how often they had been out (my one male required being out individually or with his brother due to still being intact), they say they were but was never in a place where the cameras could see and the one time my fixed male was out, he was pacing and visibly stressed looking for his brother. This was at the point I called and clarified where my other dog was, and *magically* my fixed male was not seen on video again. In this day and age, there is ZERO reason they can not be at least scanning the pups/animals every time they take them somewhere. Especially since they make them wear those hazards of plastic wristband 'collars'. Out of a 4 day stay I received ONE update that occurred only hours after they were dropped off and not once notified again. Upon pick up, I paid for ultimate baths for both dogs. Confirmed the day before what time we would be there for pick up. Day of we come in and only one of my two had even started being washed. At this point I just wanted my babies and to go home and unless I waited another hour (which wasn't even an option given) I went home with a very VERY wet shepherd and another that was filthy from just being inside the facility. To rectify this situation the manager replied "yeah, we're having communication issues. We're having a meeting about it" and I still ended up having to pay the full price for a bath that had absolutely not been worth $45. Even leaving both my dogs who are genuinely well behaved, were jumping on doors and pulling to leave. Will absolutely not be going back! BELIEVE THE REVIEWS AND GUT FEELINGS! read more

Dogs are healthy and happy. That's all that matters. They seem to enjoy themselves. We also use the grooming service and are happy with service. read more

My dog was shedding horrible and the vet said it was stress. last time she was there, there were 33 dogs in the one little section she was in. the pool and playground look hugh in the picture but are small in person. I froze the video and counted the dogs. I noticed she kept trying to go in the gate whenever they opened it. She has been to many doggie daycares and never had a problem. there is no interaction with the dogs, it's like a herd. It's horrible. Way to many dogs and do human interaction, just employees walking around. There were also dogs trying to mate, which I thought was a big issue. read more

I went there to check the place out before boarding my dogs. I saw a play room with about 7 dogs and 2 humans just standing around. no interaction and no toys . I saw one kennel with a dog laying on his bed looking very sad with nothing to play with. I thought it seemed very warm during my visit and the smell was bad. won`t be staying there read more

This is, I think, the third time I've used this business. I was able to get a boarding reservation the night before, which was very convenient. They are super friendly. When I called to inquire as to how my dog was doing, they were able to tell me details. Viewing the dogs on the camera, it looked like the employees there interacted a bit with the dogs and the dogs looked happy. I will use them again! read more

Very poor service at registration. Seemed uncaring if I registered my dog or not. Also hours of day care not conducive for working people. They open at 9 and most people have to be at work by then. Not a helpful day care. read more

If I could give it a negative, I would! Boarded my fur babies for 10 days - in a VIP kennel. My Great Dane came home with 'kennel sores' on both of her front legs! It's like she was only taken out to potty only. When I brought this to their attention, I was told it was probably a reaction to her getting in their pool! And that 'stuff like this happens to older dogs' - she is only 3! Now I know she was in the kennel with our other dog, and she probably let him have the bed so she was on the hard floor, but, then couldn't they have two beds? read more

My dog got sick from this place & the staff never notified me of other dogs coughing or reporting being sick. CIRD (kennel cough) is diagnosed and treatable, but aCIRD, is a different form of kennel cough that will not show up on a PCR test and there is no vaccines and medicines that have been working for this. Please don't bring your dog there if they have been coughing. This type of infection has been killing dogs and highly contageous. read more

If what you are looking for in a doggie day camp is nothing more than training your dog to be a sedentary lapdog, this is the place for you. If you actually expect that the dog will be able to play, take it somewhere else! The staff speaks of a phantom '10 dogs to 1 human' ratio and 'a variety of activities,' which are complete fiction. There were over 30 dogs in the 'little dog' play yard when my pup was there. They claim that dogs are grouped by size and activity level. I agree they are grouped by size, but clearly not by activity level. After his first day, he was given a 'report card' that commented on his adventurous nature, playfulness, and friendliness to dogs and humans. On his second day, my pup was actually put into a time out for 'exuberant playing.' (The staff and I watched the camera feeds together - afterwords they admitted that his behavior was normal puppy-play, the little guy he was playing with was clearly enjoying the encounter, and they pretended to be sorry that the staff 'mishandled the situation.') A puppy was put into some jail-like cell (that has NO cameras covering it) for over 2 hours when he played in a play yard because, as stated by the 'expert' staff, puppy play can be upsetting to older dogs - so he was given 'space to calm himself.' The best part of that day was when my husband arrived to pick him up, the staff spent more than 10 minutes 'looking for him,' which begs the question - when was the last time anyone had eyes on him while he was in 'detention?' The same little dog that used to run to the front door when I'd leave for work in the morning, suddenly was not getting off the couch. And after only 3 days of 'doggie detention camp' he started hiding behind the couch when he'd get home. read more
