Absolutely amazing staff! I started bringing my dogs here when they first opened, and although I now live in Florida, I still have nothing but wonderful things to say about this facility. Recently, I was trying to use a promotion at a Florida location, but it wasn't showing on my account. I called the Columbia location and Alex was able to resolve the issue quickly and effortlessly. She was beyond sweet and went above and beyond. What impressed me even more was that Alex remembered my pups after 10 months! That personal touch made me feel truly valued as a customer. The facility is always clean, and I love the giant viewing window where you can watch the dogs playing in the pool. The live cameras are fantastic too. I was able to check on my dogs anytime while they were boarding, even from states away. Most importantly, my dogs absolutely loved going here, and I always felt confident knowing they were being cared for by a staff that genuinely loves and cares for the animals. My dog and granddog had an unpleasant experience at this facility. The first time there seemed to be pleasant, but the second time was very unpleasant. Both dogs appeared to be traumatized when they were picked up. My dog medicines were not administered for his ears. They were very inflamed. My dog food containers were not throughly cleaned and had mold on the lids. Both dogs were wet and not because they were swimming. My granddog had an entire bag of food left, so he probably didn't eat. The staff attending to them during their second stay appeared to be young and inexperienced. They did not report status of the dogs and didn't answer the phone when we called. This place shows all the bells and whistles, but is very deceiving. My reservation was confirmed, but upon arriving they wouldn't/didn't accept my dog. All day play is advertised, but he was always in his room with no interaction with other pets or people every time I checked the cameras. When I asked them about it, they lied and said he didn't want to go outside and play. The staff is careless and very rude. read more

We drove an hour and a half for absolutely nothing. Don't ever book with this place! We called the day before to confirm and ask questions, and not once did they mention their policy that if your dog can't go into the kennel completely by themselves, they won't accept them. I understand they can't pull or pick dogs up, but the one female employee didn't even make an attempt to help and was also extremely rude. We left infuriated, but thankfully found La Petite Pet Care at 25 Bayview Dr. -- they accepted us last minute without issue and were so much kinder. My dogs stayed at the Columbia SC location for daycare. The staff was eager to accommodate my requests. The facility is excellent and has rooms with outside runs which is the only type of boarding I'd ever consider. Well done! read more

Other than the beautiful facility and easy booking process, I am disappointed. I was hoping it was an isolated incident but my fur baby continues to go without food and treats for 10-12 hours. I'm never able to see any interaction of the staff with pets when I look on the cameras. It appears that they are just in the little runners all day. I have several visits left but I am not sure I want to take him back. read more

Beware of making online reservation! We made reservations for our dogs for a weekend trip and received a reservation confirmation. On the day of the trip, 2 hours before leaving, we received a notification that they were now on a wait list and would not likely have a space. The attendant stated that the system was automated. read more

I booked a reservation for my dog. I paid my $100 deposit and received an email stating the reservation is confirmed. The following morning at approximately 7:38am I received an email stating the reservation was moved to the waitlist. Upon speaking with the resort manager Alex, she claimed they have been overbooked for weeks and all reservations being made were going to the waitlist. She then went on to say the email I received was not confirming the reservation but rather confirming the request for a reservation. I then spoke with someone from central reservations, who verified my reservation was valid and not on the waitlist due to me paying the $100 deposit. Not sure if Alex is the liar or the person on the recorded line from central reservations. What I do know is I wouldn't return to this facility even if they offered 5 years' worth of free boarding. From the most recent reviews, I recommend this location be shut down permanently, or corporate does a clean sweep and starts from scratch with a competent staff. read more
