Three times I have been in the store and three times I have been completely disappointed. The first time I bought fish. I bought two females and one male guppies. Of course they were in separate tanks, the two females died within a couple of days and the male lived. I brought them back and he said it must have been my tank even though I have 8 or 10 other guppies in the tank and the other fish was just fine. I came in a second time and bought one male guppy and same thing within two days it died, I didn't even bother coming back because of course it would have been my fault. Fast forward 6 months and the light on the top of my tank breaks I go everywhere in town to get one and of course there are none to be found. My last choice is here, I explained to him that I'm not quite sure if this one will fit and he assures me that it will. I buy it take it home and of course it does not fit. I buy it on Saturday he is closed on Sunday and I bring it back on Monday with the receipt to be told that they don't take returns. On Saturday I told him I was not sure it would fit and I absolutely would not have bought it for $70 if I had known that he would not take returns. I absolutely will not return to the store and I will tell anybody that will listen not to bring their business here! Buyer beware!! This guy is only out for money!

Love Pet Palace :) It's the only place that has a good variety of toys, cage accessories, perches, and food for our blue & gold macaw.

By far it beats petco and petsmart!!!. All of the animals are well taken care of and don't stink. i love the place:) :)

Made an online appointment for grooming at 2 this afternoon. Staff was very friendly and told me…read morethat they were running behind as they took my dog to the back. They said they should be done before 4. I told them that was fine as I could go run some errands. I came back slightly early at 345. They told me they had one more dog in front of mine. I went to run another errand in town and they called me about 20 minutes after I had left saying that it would be impossible to groom her today. This notification was 2 hours and 15 minutes past her appointment time. I asked if they could at least trim her nails, and they did get to do that much. Again, they were friendly and apologetic throughout all this time. I was expecting a discount on the nail service or have some discounted follow up offers since they took my dog in to be groomed at 2 (per the online appointment.) I left the store with only her nails trimmed 3.5 hours later at standard pricing.. I cannot comment on their grooming abilities. Just the lack of grooming that occurred today. I'm now on the hunt to find a reliable groomer with openings! *I'd recommend anyone that tries to get their dog groomed to sign up earlier in the day than I did. Maybe you can get the service you signed up for!

February 25,2026 Betty-White our German Shepherd had a grooming appointment made on line with…read moreGroomer at Hattiesburg, Mississippi PetSmart. I usually schedule Betty-White with Kristen O, but I would have to call to Shedule for repeated groomer choice. Before appointment, Betty-White was good, no issues at All! Once my husband and I arrived to pick up Betty-White, the petsmart groomer reported that Betty-White had diarrhea twice in her kennel. We don't know why this happened. It NEVER happened with Kristen who Betty-White has had 3 past grooming visits. We drove home and as Betty-White got out the back of the truck camper, she cried out in pain, then she went to stretch back legs, cried out again, next, she attempted to have a bowel movement twice , NOTHING, followed by dragging her rearend across grass, She has never in her 3 years of life done that. We decided something is wrong, Betty-White is in great pain and took her the next day to a Vet clinic in Hattiesburg, MS. As I tried to get her up into back truck camper I then noticed she had did her business twice on the deck stack which I took a video of. I decided Betty-White was reluctant to get in the back of truck so I convinced her to get in the truck Cab with us for ride to Vet. She cried out as she attempted 3 times and I had to help her get in. After vet appointment, the vet stated blood in Betty-White's stool sample, But the Vet stated he wasn't sure what caused that. We went next to PetSmart spoke with (A) store manager who stated after she looked over grooming areas video feed, she stated nothing showed any Mistreatment by groomer. Hattiesburg, Mississippi PetSmart grooming/ store Refused to take any responsibility for the $579. Vet bill. We have been taking both our large dogs to petsmart for the last 3 years and no concerns prior to this.

A 60% off sign was on this rack (see photo) Aug 2. I got excited because I had been watching these…read moreitems hoping they would be more off (they had been 30% off). I SHOWED the sign to the person with me, exclaimed, "Look at this stuff! It's 60% off! I'm going to get me a buggy!" I went and got the buggy, and started picking stuff out. I finally ended with two items, checked out, and noticed it seemed I was charged a little too much. Decided to look into it later, and if something was wrong, talk to someone about it later. I DID NOT ENTER the store again until TUESDAY. I did not talk to anyone who visited the store, nor knew anyone who did. I didn't see any info online. I told the person with me that they didn't give me my 60% off days later. So I go into the store Tuesday Aug 6 and told the cashier, and she said the stuff didn't go on sale until Aug 4. She said I could talk to the manager but he didn't come to the front and told her the sale didn't start until Sun. I said, "So the sign was up the 2nd but the sale didn't start until the 4th? Ok." And I left. I called the manager later and he kept telling me I didn't SEE the 60% off sign I saw the 30% off sign. Because he didn't put the sale on until Sunday. At one point he said yesterday, which would have been Monday. I felt seriously gaslighted. I told him I wasn't the only one who saw it, but it didn't matter. He didn't listen. Maybe there was some misunderstanding. I called the stuff I bought home decor. Maybe he didn't have ALL the home decor on sale Friday. But it's listed as home decor - kitchen decor on the website. AND THE SIGN WAS THERE! How would I have known BEFORE walking into the store Tuesday that it was 60% off! HOW?? Because the sign was there FRIDAY!!! I would have never been excited over 30% off! I was excited over 60% off!!! I have called Customer Solutions. Yeah, it's not that serious but the policy is if the sign is up they are supposed to honor it. And to be gaslighted and told I didn't SEE what I SAW is insulting. On top of that it's deceitful. I wouldn't have purchased the items if they had not been so much on sale, because I've been WATCHING the percent off on these items for over a week (at the least). I was HOLDING OFF on purchasing them at 30%!!!! Will not be using the Hattiesburg store.
