Hubby and I found this place last year while I was still preggers. We were able to bring both our dogs and wash them ourselves. Although it was convenient, it definitely was not easy (my dogs are cray) and I'd rather just pay someone to clean my dogs for me. They do have everything you need, though. The tubs are high and they give you instruction on how to use the soap and water and blowers. They provide you with aprons and as many towels as you need but again, we have Shibas and when they're shedding, it can be horrendous. Which brings me to about a month ago when I was searching for a groomer that could really make a dent in their shedding issues. Shibas don't really shed badly throughout the year but when spring and winter come, they have what can only be described as fursplosions, where they shed their undercoats and the fur comes off of them in tufts. It's crazy. Their butts look like shapely little Corgy butts, the Kardashians of the dog world. I requested a quote through the Yelp app and Dana got back to me super fast. I ended up making appointments for the next day. They offer the Furminator treatment for an extra $10 and it's worth every penny. We've gotten our dogs back from other groomers and you can still see tons and tons of fur coming off but this is probably the first and only time we've gotten our dogs back home and after petting them a few hundred times, not one hair fell to the ground. They got ALL the shed fur, ya'll! That like, NEVER happens! The cost is reasonable, about $45 per dog which is a little bit more that what we've paid elsewhere but I don't mind paying if they're getting out every single shed fur that exists. We don't have to bring them often so I am definitely going to use them again. read more

I have used this facility 3-4 times over the past two years and overall I would say that I really like the concept- a pet wash business that allows customers to wash their pets at a low cost. Interesting that every time I go the price increases but the facility is showing signs of ear and tear. The tiles in the tub are falling off in several spots. Abundant towels are not provided and there are no temperature controls on the water values. The cost the past three times has gone from $14 to $18 to now over $20. There is still customer value in this business but my advice is to instill consistent pricing, fix anything that breaks, and put the towels out... read more

We can't say enough about how much we love this place! Dana is an absolute Godsend. Not only is she extremely helpful and knowledgeable about dogs, but our normally anti-social German Shepherd can't wait to get in the door to see her and cover her in kisses! We've never seen him so happy to see someone outside of our family! Sometimes we wash our dog ourselves using the excellent facilities (which is a nice option to have), but when we handed him over to Dana for grooming we were blown away. Good set up. 4 stations - all tiled, but some tile pieces broken/missing. Water is warm, good pressure. Good variety of soap. They give you a towel (2 for big dogs) and plastic apron. Powerful dryers at each station. Lost a star because of dog hair left at station. read more

Extremely disappointment in this place. To start off, 5 stars for convenience. This is a great concept, the soap, water, dryer and blanket are readily available and easy to work. On the other hand, this place is disgusting. I understand it is a pet grooming store but I have owned dogs my entire life, gone to grooming salons and self-grooming places and never encountered somewhere that is so full of dog hair. Daniella, helped me as soon as I walked in and showed me where I could wash my dog. I noted there was LOTS of dog hair in the supposedly clean bath, she nicely offered that I switch to another bath. I did so, but was disappointed when that bath was also covered in dog hair. Now, I understand it must be hard to keep such an establishment clean, but when I noted the hair to Daniella, she said that they had just cleaned it and there wasn't any hair in it. I called her over and showed her the multiple places where there was globs of black hair (my dog is white and wasn't even in the tub yet). With her hand, she pulled out the hair and disgruntling told me that it was just cleaned and I should use it anyway. I shampooed and dried my dog, then was given towels to dry him some more. When I opened the towel, it was once again, covered in dog hair. I noted this to Daniella, and she said stated that they had just come out the wash. At this point, I was fed up and asked to speak to manager/ owner. She stated that the owner, Ed, doesn't come around very often. Overall, I would never bring my dog back here. I care about my dogs health and cleanliness and this place clearly does not care about either. If there is hair in the tub, they are clearly not sanitizing after every dog. This poses a risk to all dogs that enter this facility. Hopefully this place can clean up a little better because would love to be able to have the convenience of washing my dog here. read more

I was very happy with the pet wash, not only is the new groomer very good but the place was clean and the staff made sure masks were worn and they had prepared packages with apron and towel for the self wash and all the tubs were cleaned and disinfected after each use. Great job! read more

Just called there and Dana is no longer working there. Let me start by saying I have 140 lb Cane Corso that no one could cut his nails. I came to this place to wash my dog and Dana was the first person who ever cut my dogs nails without him being sedated. Please if anyone has any information on where she went to I need the information I don't know how else I am going to get his nails cut without them sedating him and at his age which is 10 it is very risky. read more

I wish I got the groomers name, she was so nice and the process for me and my doggie was great. She clipped her nails better then my vet did and cuddled her till I came back. I'm so happy this store came to the neighborhood! We have been taking our German Shepherd here for several months now and couldn't be happier. The store is very well maintained and the staff is great. Dana is an absolute pleasure to deal with each time. Dana was our groomer at Petsmart for my two huskies at least two years ago and when she left we were devastated.. We weren't able to locate her new location until very recently - I was just informed that she had left!! We had no choice but to utilize other groomers and were extremely unsatisfied. I am so happy that we reconnected with her - she is amazing with our pets and they are so trusting of her! Very disappointing. They never return calls. When I got there they didn't even remember they had scheduled my dog for grooming. They did a TERRIBLE job cutting her nails. I noticed bald spots on my dogs knees. And my dog was so stressed, not sure why, that she ended up with a bout of GI issues, which required medications. And they charged me more than Dana use to charge. Will never go back. read more

This place ISED to have $10 dog washes. Since Valuepet went out of business, I guess that's changed. Imagine our surprise when we finished up our dogs and went to pay, and were hit with a $61 bill for two dog washes!! Since reopening after the pandemic the place is kept very clean and they are practicing social distancing. Plastic bags with a towel and apron are given at walk in for self wash and the new groomer that took place of Dana is very good. All tubs are cleaned out and disinfected after each dog leaves. Best pet washing place I've ever been to. Set up in all the right ways, from high-walled baths to leash to keep pet under control to easy to wash and rinse controls. And blow dryer is right there. Brought in my nervous and vocal dog for a nail trim. The woman handled him great and was able to trim all his nails perfectly. (even though I got turned away by PetSmart when they said his nails didn't need trimming). I decided to bath him myself but did not want to use my tub and found Pet Wash online. They provide for pretty much all your needs: soap, apron and towels and optional to bring your own stuff. I just brought my 4 month old puppy to Pet Wash Express and I am so happy he had such a great experience! After Dana was finished he looked so fluffy and smelled so good! I have a longer haired dog and she did a great job shaving the appropriate areas short while leaving the rest of his hair longer. Pet Wash in Hartsdale is great. It was so clean and easy to do. Twenty minutes and both dogs were done. They have 4 tubs and Dana is great with the dogs. They just listen to her. She has a way with them. She is also very helpful in helping you figure everything out, which is very easy after she shows you! Great place! Will definitely be back! read more
