My cat started throwing up and shrieking in pain Christmas Day. My regular Vet's office was closed due to the holiday, so I took him to Pet Doctor 911. The wait time was approximately 1.5 hours. I thought that was reasonable since it was the only Vet clinic open in the area. The reception staff were professional and very nice. After we were taken back to a room, the vet tech took our information and discussed it with the veterinary doctor. She examined my cat and then an action plan was written up, treatment costs were included in this plan as well. The vet tech and Dr were both very kind to my sick boy. I appreciated their patience and gentleness when administering treatment. My boy is feeling better! I highly recommend Pet Doctor911

My experience at Pet Doctor 911 has been one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life. I took my dog Zoe, a five-year-old chihuahua full of love, light, and energy, seeking urgent help for what seemed to be pain in her spine. We walked in with hope, and I watched her come back home weaker, more frightened, and slowly slipping away from me with each visit. We waited for over six hours in a cold, stressful environment where my baby was already in pain. The cost was shockingly high. I paid everything because I believed they would help her. But instead... she only got worse. She was injected, prescribed six medications, and handled in ways that felt rushed and cold. There was no compassion, no softness, no emotional connection to her pain--or to mine as her guardian. Zoe arrived there walking. Today, she can't move her back legs. She refuses food. She stares at me with tired eyes. I am holding her through what might be her last days, and my soul is shattered. I can't know with certainty what exactly happened in that place, but what I do know is that my dog deteriorated rapidly after being treated there. I share this because our pets are not just "patients" or "numbers" they are sacred companions. And when we bring them to a clinic in pain, they deserve to be seen, felt, and treated with heart. Please, if you love your pet don't take them there. And never ignore what your intuition is telling you.

Es realmente malo, lleve a mi frenchie porque tenia su ojo rojo y lagrimeando le hicieron 3 examenes y no me dijeron lo que tenia solo me dieron una crema para su ojo y eso lo empeoro aun mas si tienen una urgencia con sus mascotas busquen otra parte realmente no ayudan en nada solo perderan tiempo y dinero

My beautiful girl, rest in paradise my love. All dogs go to heaven, cant say the same about 911 pet doctor staff

Great for emergencies but not with follow ups. I had several follow ups and there was always a lack of communication between the staff.

Before posting this , I read the posts of 5 stars thinking "who would possibly give five stars to…read morethese people" . If you are considering this location, I invite you to reconsider and find another option. Local clinics are a bit more expensive, but in the end you will pay more with this location and receive the worse service I have seen in a clinic/hospital, not to mention the worst customer service and client relations experience available in the US at the moment So, after reading the reviews, i can see that those five stars are for the franchise and the plan, NOT FOR THIS specific hospital. The franchise and it's plan are great, but the employees executing the plans should be audited regularly and the customers should receive an independent survey company call to review the experience as the employees do something different than what's sold in the plan Out of three dogs, one of them is older and have more issues. So we scheduled our older dog for a check-up. Three times we were changed the schedule. All of them at the hospital, with no courtesy call. I would love to say that this is a single event , but no. It's a modus operandi of the manager. He/she didn't have the time to talk to me even when a regular check became an emergency. After complaining to corporate, I was told that it's always better to try to fix it with the manager first. So I followed the system, and got no response. Once again , when this became an emergency, I called and the manager, through her assistant told me "we were going to call you". I guess time moves in a different dimension in that hospital. I told them I didn't care anymore and needed a check up as my dog was getting worse every day . The assistant (the manager was very busy) invited me to go to another hospital, as they had an availability in 10 days.

My experience at North McAllen Banfield was absolutely phenomenal! I called a Tuesday morning…read moreinquiring about an appointment for my Princess! Receptionist Ericka told me she would call me back if any cancellations were made. Cassandra, called me at 10am to let me know they could accommodate my pet that same day! I was so thankful for them for this!! The assistant Daniella, called me for every update that the Doctor had! I received a call from Dr. Rivera when my pet was ready for pick up and let me know all the concerns and recommendations she had for Princess! I ended up enrolling in the wellness plan that they offer and i absolutely LOVE it! I highly recommend this place, customer service is amazing!
