    Very wide selection, friendly and helpful owner. They have some small animals like parakeets and lizards to see when you go in the store.

I had scheduled a "howdy-do" day for my one-year-old pup after…read morespeaking to someone on the phone about my concerns that she hadn't been around a ton of other dogs, and I had asked if there was anything I should do first to warm her up. The lady on the phone was nice enough and assured me that my pup would be fine and that they would let her get used to her environment and introduce dogs one at a time until the new pup is comfortable. This is also what is clearly stated on the website, see quote below: "What happens at a Howdy-Do Day? Dogs are introduced slowly to the play area with a few regular day play dogs that we count on for good behavior. Most dogs are nervous at first, unless they are puppies or have been to day play before. We allow them to smell and explore the play area, both inside and out. Once comfortable, we introduce one dog at a time waiting until the new dog is comfortable until the entire pack" I logged into the app to watch the live camera as soon as I got home from dropping her off, no more than 10 minutes later, and she was cowering in the corner of a room filled with at least 8 dogs. I knew my pup would be nervous and take some time to get acclimated to the new environment, but again, I had been assured that she would be introduced slowly and cared for. This already made me nervous, but I tried to let her have some time to get used to it. After about an hour of her sitting in the same spot, being humped and harassed by one dog in particular, and all but ignored by the staff, I decided I wanted to bring her home. It is possible that I was overreacting, which I will own, as I am new to all of this - but I also felt like I had been misled and was just nervous and wanted her home. When I picked her up, I explained that I didn't like that nothing was being done about the humping and that I had been misinformed about how the howdy-do day worked. She said "no, we don't introduce them one at a time, we just like them to be the first ones here on their first day so that the dogs can be brought in as they are dropped off." Again, see the quote from the website, but I just said "Okay, well that isn't what I was told on the phone." The other lady (who I am pretty sure was the owner!) who brought my dog out to me was the main reason I am writing this review. Absolutely unbelievably rude. My mom and I tried to express our concerns and explain why we were picking her up early (at this point we hadn't even ruled out trying again on a different day) and she extremely rudely said "Well, you just don't know anything about this." told me the dog humping her while she cowered in the corner was just "playing," etc. We continued to try to express our concerns and she just said, "You do not know what you're talking about at all, so just take your crazy dog and go." and stormed out of the room. My mom and I were so shocked! I was basically speechless. First of all, MY dog is crazy? For being nervous and literally sitting in one spot the whole time she was there? Okay.... But also, just shocked by how unbelievably unprofessional and immature this lady was! A client can't express a concern without you lashing out and storming off? If she had been able to have a professional conversation with us and help explain some of the stuff that we obviously "don't understand," I probably would have come back, but now I am absolutely horrified by how spiteful and rude this lady was to us!

    i usually go to Petsmart for grooming but I decided to try someone smaller and local this time…read morearound and possibly pick a future groomer for both of my dogs going forward. I made a prior appointment and got in the next day. Upon going arriving I was asked the usual questions, kind of service needed, dogs name and my phone number. I provided all of this and then I was asked for an emergency contact number. Yes, this is standard in health care but i have never been asked that at any groomers or vet and I have been using both for over 30 years. I explained that I do not have an emergency contact number as both of my parents just died, my wife divorced me and I have nobody thst I would trust with my pets. I tried to explain that I do not have an emergency contact and instead of overlooking this, she made it into a big confrontational issue, telling me shes been doing this for 20 years and never had a problem and asked me why I didn't have any friends or family. This was very humiliating and embarrassing as I could not provide the answer to her question..an alternate number. I get why they may need it for emergency purposes but each persons situation is different and they shouldn't feel humiliated at the pet spa over a stupid alternate number. This person was very rude to me and unprofessional in my opinion and I will never go back there again. I went down the street to a new groomer who was much cheaper, much more friendly and didn't as me for another number or humiliate me. $65 ar this place - $45 at other local places on the square. This place is really proud for professionalism at its lowest.

    I have been lax in leaving a review my mistake and I apologize to the owner. I found this place…read morebecause her previous groomer had moved. I got lucky they do an outstanding job on grooming. They're extremely courteous. They call them plenty of time to pick my furry Furball up. they love going there once we pull up immediately they stop shaking. I do have to apologize to the owner because I do make appointments for one of our dogs which my wife has we make an appointment for her and then I have to be the bad guy and tell her my wife said she didn't need it this time and for that I apologize to her the other dog needed grooming more often but my wife is extremely happy With the service as long as she'll keep us, will keep going there. Again, I'm sorry for the late review but anybody who reads this I highly recommend this place the place is clean. You can tell when I come in first thing that is being cleaned immaculately tonight before ready for a new day and next day and she always sends us pictures. Jesse
