This was very off putting, as my cat is healthy and has a loving home, she just has anxiety, which is treatable. I did call to provide feedback on how inappropriate this was, especially during a first visit... and to let the office know we wouldn't be returning, the receptionist was very kind. Maybe other vets at the office offer more empathy, but feel it's important to share this experience. btw! after one dose of the gabapentin my beloved cat is already so much more relaxed and out and about in our home!

And, if you're paying for boarding it's extra to pay for play time... otherwise the dog will just sit in the crate the whole time. It is very expensive boarding. I think playtime should be free to a certain extent if you truly care about animals, meeting their needs shouldn't cost extra. On the other side, the women running the yard seems to have deep passion for her job. She cares about my dog & address them by their name. Overall, I bring my dog because it's cheap. If it wasn't cheap, I wouldn't bring him.

My pup was then on recovery for two weeks after being spayed and Just before she was to go back I get an email that my dog should try their other facility without an explanation as to why. It felt very negative so I emailed the trainer at Dog Bay North asking what was going on with my pup in their care. I then finally get an email from the owner telling what the issues with my pup were. I feel if I had known that 3 weeks prior I could have worked with my pup and looked at alternatives. I was extremely upset on how they handled this. I had only had my pup less than a month when she went there and was just learning her myself. Their lack of feedback hindered my learning on what my pup needed for training. Unfortunately I will never use this facility again. Only other issue I had was anytime I tried to call them the line is always busy. I had a hard time trying to get the days paid for. Their office skills are a bit lacking. The only plus is the employees at this facility are very nice and care about the pets that are there.

We've owned Rottweilers for over 20 years, but when Casimir was about 7 months old, we were dealing with some behavior issues we'd never experienced before. He's always been a good boy, but some of his behaviors were directed toward me, and only me, and we honestly didn't know how to address them. We'd already been taking him to daycare at K9 Academy International, so when we realized he needed more help, we decided to enroll him in their board-and-train program. It was absolutely the right decision. Nino, Taylor, Amber, and the entire staff have been incredible. Their expertise, professionalism, and care showed through every step of the process. They took the time to understand Casimir, address the problem behaviors, and teach us how to continue that work at home. We've only had Casimir back for three days, and the change is remarkable. Before, I had tears of frustration. Now, I have tears of joy. The issues we were struggling with have been addressed, but he's still the same happy, energetic puppy we love. He hasn't lost his personality at all. He's just better guided, more confident, and easier for us to communicate with. We know that as long as we stay consistent and continue the training, he'll keep thriving. It also gives us so much peace of mind knowing that if we run into any issues or Casimir ever needs a brush-up, K9 Academy International will be there for us. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the last time she was there last fall of 2019, she came down with a very bad double ear infection which required her to go to the vet and give her medicine in her ears for about 6 weeks. So that was a pretty expensive grooming!!!! I called them about it thinking they probably got water in her ears, and they said they could put cotton in her ears. We didn't know if we wanted to take her back there after that, and I did make an appointment with a new grooming place that is really closer to where we live. We thought about it and thought about it, and today I was supposed to take her into the new groomers, but called and cancelled it. We decided we didn't want to stress her anymore with going to a new place, and we also decided to give Posh Pets another try. She seemed to like it there very much, except for the noise!
