The service is impecable and the food is beyond amazing. I have travelled to Italy and had the finest Italian restaurants but their Gnocchi is by far the best we have ever had. If you happen to come to Sudbury, this is place is a must try for dinner. Make reservations ahead of time as it fills up really fast.

I don't usually write a review, but I can't stop thinking about my experience here. I was looking…read moreforward to it for several weeks and very excited to try their menu. First, we tried the calamari. Now, if there's calamari at a fine dining restaurant, I'm trying it. I've had some amazing calamari. This was not amazing. It was so rubbery that I had to swallow my first bite whole after chewing it for so long. We were hungry so we kept eating it. The light coating and seasoning was actually great but the texture sucked. If you know calamari, texture is a big deal. When asked how it was, we were honest but our server replied that no one else complained. So? I'm not speaking for anyone else. Anyways, she did apologize and said she'll let the kitchen know but no offer to discount it or take it off the bill. Whatever. Moving on. We ordered top sirloins. Medium rare. I chose to upgrade my side to risotto. When our meals came the steaks looked medium rare like we asked, but my husband got 3 little burnt potatoes and soggy vegetables. I got a messy pile of risotto and they took away my vegetables AND my potatoes and charged me an extra $11. Really? There was no mention of that. At least leave me the vegetables. Most sides are max $5 unless they're a protein lol. It gets worse, unfortunately. The risotto was undercooked. My husband didn't even touch the potatoes because they didn't look appetizing. And the steak... although cooked to our liking, somehow was tough. Very chewy. So disappointing. I didn't complain or send any of it back. When the server replied the way she did about the calamari, I knew she'd probably just argue and think we just like to complain when it came to everything else. I paid close to $200 for this experience and was very disappointed. Later realized the server was the owner. Honey, if you can't take a little constructive criticism and try to satisfy your customers, how do you allow yourself to learn and your business to grow? Good luck to you.

My review is directed towards their Ristorante Enrico…read more I've visited the buffet at Ristorante Enrico many times throughout the years. For the past little while, food can be pretty hit or miss, with it often being dry. It's disappointing because many times, it's been good. They've got a decent selection of Italian food staples, with coffee, tea, and dessert included in the buffet price. Price isn't too bad, considering. Service is ok. They often seem frazzled - perhaps because there's often one person covering the whole floor. Customer service suffers as a consequence. They also have to seriously update their hours of operation on their website. Think you can drop in for a lunch buffet on Saturday, since you saw they're open on their website? Nope - they're closed! A server told me this is stated on their takeout menus, but... what if I don't have one, because I've never received one? What about an out of town visitor who's never even been? There weren't even hours of operation posted on their front door!

I was truly amazed at this main dish; the beef was so flavourful and tender! Espresso Bonet; bittersweet chocolate, espresso, cream, and seasonal berries.
