But we had about an hour before our tickets to the aquarium and wanted to catch a light lunch so we decided to give it a try. The menu is heavily seafood-focused so that's what we went for. To start we got the marinated fresh anchovies - delicious! Light and flavorful with a bright olive oil and lemon dressing. I got the mussel soup next, which was outstanding. Beautifully fresh, tiny mussels in a delicious tomato broth that was perfect to enjoy with their bread. My husband got the linguine with crab, and I must say, it was perhaps the best crab I have ever tasted in my life. Sweet and meaty, served partly in the shell, just outstanding. Everything was so good I wish we'd had more time and more appetite to try more of their offerings...but perhaps on a future visit to Genoa.

Mild weather, so we ate outside, which also gave us the opportunity to people watch. My husband had the Spaghetti con Scoglio, I had the Spaghetti Carbonara (my first time eating this dish). Both were excellent. The seafood in the Spaghetti con Scoglio was fresh and abundant and the sauce was rich and seasoned well. The Carbonara was unctuous with yolky goodness and tasted like breakfast done right. The servers were attentive and the price was fair. Will definitely visit again...
