After owning only used accordions, this was to be my first new accordion, so I was quite excited about the process. After I finally established contact, I did get fairly prompt and helpful responses for a time. But this is a big purchase decision for me. I was planning to spend around $5000, so I had a lot of very specific questions--about features, reed quality, tuning, size, weight, price, availability, etc.--and I was taking my time to make the best decision I could make. Buying an accordion without being able to spend some time with it is a very big risk, so getting all questions answered is really the only way to mitigate some of the risk. Unfortunately, after a few weeks, they virtually stopped responding to my emails. In their final email they offered to spend time with me on the phone to "teach" (?!) me about the features and benefits of several models...but only after sending them a non-refundable advance payment of $250! That was the end of that! I kept my $250 and bought my new accordion elsewhere--from a dealer with a better idea that putting time and effort into "customer service" is actually part of his job to make a sale and not a sales item of its own!

We also arranged for pickup a little over a week later and sure enough, JB was calling me as soon as we got off the plane. I won't be forgetting this company again and highly recommend it. Sooooo this post is long OVERDUE as I went to the shop for the first time weeks ago and just now…read moregetting around to writing the review. Let me just say, this shop did NOT disappoint!! To start off, I had a really bad experience with a salon a previously and haven't been to one for a few years. I was content with doing my hair myself which unfortunately resulted most times in my hair not being done and massive split ends. I came here to begin the process of nurturing my hair back to health and getting back on track to growing my hair out. Also, I am natural and was having a hard time managing my hair. I was greeted by the shop owner (I totally forgot her name- sorry!!!) who was extremely pleasant, told me exactly what I needed to get back on track. I got the protein treatment, a trim and a silk press. My hair was flowing beautifully. It looks a little thin in the pics due to my negligence of putting in extensions myself and not properly caring for it - but I felt confident that's gonna change with time in coming to the shop. I didn't have to wait long as the shop owner was finishing up a client. Plenty of parking and she takes her time in getting to know your hair. Overall- 5 star treatment !! Then I would come every week just to be with myself ! It's just really pretty & so relaxing. This conference house park is located at the southwest part of NY state. It was built on back in 1680. Makes a great background with its historic landmarks & the view of the Raritan Bay. 265 acres of huge biking & hiking trails you will definitely find lots of places to take pictures in fall. I will definitely come back in spring & winter just to see how different it looks . Altho I was supposed do a shoot of my friend I did some shoot of myself too We had fun out there, we had to cut down the trip earlier because that day it was really cold. Do come & have a picnic on this beautiful place. You can also do engagement & birthday shoots. If anyone need one do contact a local photographer like me. I will be happy to create memories for you.
