My mom couldn't be at this first appt, so when I arrived I explained to my bridal consultant Danielle that I wanted to try on dresses fully knowing I wouldn't be ready to buy one without doing another appt in the US with my mom. She didn't mind in the slightest! She pulled every dress she could think of that I might love, and was incredibly kind along the way. She informed me that she's actually the owner of the shop and spent a full two hours letting me try different things. I ended up falling in love with a dress, but knew I couldn't buy it before my mom seeing, so she took my measurements and told me there was no pressure, just to call back if I ended up wanting to order later. Danielle informed me of multiple ways we could transport the dress to me if needed, and was so welcoming to my family and I. I ultimately found the same dress near my hometown in the US, and ordered through them for the convenience of shipping and a tight timeline, but had I not found it here I would have absolutely ordered through With Love. I highly recommend anyone in the Ottawa area looking for dresses to check out this lovely shop; I truly had the most wonderful experience with them. Not to mention, their dresses are not insanely expensive! They had a great price range that would allow for most anyone to find something beautiful within budget. The…read moreexperience was wonderful and this was my first and last bridal store visit because I found my wedding dress among the the first few dresses I tried on! Taem listened to me and knew exactly what I wanted. Not only was the experience great for me, but also for my wedding party...which was quite large. I brought 7 people with me and they managed to seat them all comfortably. They also don't overcrowd their store at any given time so you never feel like it's too loud or busy. I left the store so happy and the cherry on top was a personal hand-written note from Taem a few weeks later congratulating me on finding my dress. Amazing experience and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding dress!

I would say that Jason D's review of this store is spot on. They have clothes which are on the…read morepricey end, but in unique styles. They carry a huge selection of Sympli pieces in lots of styles and colours (I personally am not a huge fan of this brand, but I do see the appeal of pieces that pack well (i.e. don't wrinkle and fold down to nearly nothing) and you can mix and match). Their clothing aesthetic I find very similar to Marianne's in Westgate and Shepherd's at Trainyards. So, yes, perhaps catering to let's just say women who would subscribe to magazines like More, or Zoomer. Their kitschy items are fun and cute. They have fridge magnets that say things like "a clean house is a sign of a wasted life," or "housecleaning never killed anyone, but why take the chance?" I hate household chores, so I can relate to these sentiments, haha. They have luggage tags shaped like fashionable shoes, by Fluff. They have quirky handbags shaped like unusual items, like one by Betsey Johnson shaped like an ice cream cone. I love kitsch and I love quirky, so I like looking at the accessories here. They also have a lot of things (greeting cards, magnets, napkins, books, etc.) that divorcees would find funny. They also carry costume jewelry. Lots of statement pieces. I have listed it under women's fashion because the back half of the store is devoted to very glamourous and fabulous women's (not girl's) clothes. The front half is a collection of kitschy items targeted to women who are more "mature" and may or may not be divorced. There were fridge magnets, greeting cards, aprons and oven mitts sporting saucy and witty slogans. There were also novelty luggage tags, divorce guides and books offering advice for those over 40 and 50. They even had tables with high-heeled legs! It was a hoot to hang out there for a while, but it is definitely aimed at a specific demographic of which I am not really a member.
