Todd the Hair God. Yes, this is his name now and forever and don't even think of addressing him…read moreany other way. Not because he expects it, he is too modest, but I expect it from all of you. Yes, do not be mistaken, behind that modest, nice, sweet and completely down to earth exterior lies the heart, soul, hands and brain of an brilliant and most talented hair stylist! Introduced to Todd over ten years ago by my sister, while visiting Louisville after complaining that NO ONE had ever been able to cut my curls correctly, she immediately made an appointment for me. Once he touched my hair, no other dresser has been able to even come close. Sure I have had other people touch my hair when I haven't been able to travel to Louisville to see him, and every single time I have left happy until I wash and style my own hair and realize they did what THEY want and never really understand my hair or how to work with the soft curls in fine hair. Unfortunately here in Miami everyone wants their hair straight and stylists cut accordingly. I love my curls, and so does Todd. Todd understands that I live an active life and will swim, run and bike in the sun, and not scold me for doing it, as a matter of fact quite the opposite. He tells me that my hair looks and feels great for anyone much less someone so active. Then he turns and encourages me to continue, which is the opposite of any other stylist I know. I can't even begin to say enough good things about Todd. Not only do I follow him all over Louisville, no matter where he is, I follow him FROM Miami. Yes girls and boys, he has a client that will fly from Miami, Florida to see him. No lie. You need to see him, tell him Carla told you to and watch his face when you call him Todd the God, he will totally blush.

I told him it made me want to come too early for my appointment to relax! My appointment was later afternoon. Plenty of chairs but none in use next to me, and the other customer / stylist were in another room so I felt comfortable throughout my cut. Masks are required of each person inside. I adore my stylist and will be visiting here as long as he enjoys it. If you're searching for a prime stylist, call and ask if "Ed" has an opening. FYI / Eufora hair products available. The shampoo used for my wash today smelled delicious and offered a wonderful cleanse. I bought a bottle for home.

It's been 15 years since I began visiting James at Danes salon…read more I discovered him and have not/ will not go anywhere else for a variety of reasons from quality to affordability. To begin, you must realize that I am not a Louisville local. My husband is from Louisville. Needless to say I I discovered James the first time I came to visit and did so every time after. Even when we lived in Texas and Florida, I would always schedule an apt to see James when I visited. Fast forward a few years and now we live in Louisville. Danes salon is down the street and I will still NEVER leave. He is kind, caring, compassionate, and the salon is ALWAYS extremely clean. He is great with hairstyles, gives great cuts, and James is a phenomenal colorist. When I am out in the world people who notice a recent haircut or color always ask me where I went and how affordable was it. I am happy to say that James is both conveniently located and affordably priced. He is, and always will be the best in my eyes. Go visit him, give him the opportunity to make you feel beautiful and you will never want to go anywhere else either

I'm not exactly sure how long I've been going to Dane's Salon, but it's definitely been over 10 years. Since it is just James doing hair, it is a quiet and relaxing place. They are both very happy with James' work as well. Highly Recommend!
