We both had our massages by Carolyn, a mild surprise since we had scheduled with Leann but she had something come up. The massage was good. Massage was deep and she worked on my problems areas like I asked. A treat for my birthday can't go wrong with a massage. They offer halotherapy as well. Always a great treatment they have a small relaxing room with lounge chairs and blankets. 50minutes and its $25 but right now if you bring someone else it's only $5 more. Can't beat that. My husband said it was the closest thing to being on the beach. I would give 5 stars. But we had so much oil/lotion in our hair after our massages. I understand a little will happen. But this was excessive. Maybe alternate techniques to keep hair of the way can be adjusted. Overall highly recommend checking them out and I look forward to returning to try Leann's massage.

My little one is known to be fidgety, like any 2 year old, and I expected some tears, but none were shed thanks to the kindness and patience that was shown to her. I had an appointment at 4:45 last Thursday. Earlier that day, I received an email changing my…read morebeautician from one to another, which was OK. However, when I arrived, I was told to take a seat and that I would have to wait for a few minutes. Apparently, the person scheduled to do my haircut had called in sick. The person in charge decided it would be better to keep my appointment and work me in between her other clients rather than to cancel the appointment. I waited for nearly an hour before I was seated, and I wasn't sure she heard anything I said other than, "I'd like my hair to be about shoulder length." She commented that was a lot of hair, and I assured her that was what I wanted to do. The entire time she was working on me, she was talking with people who appeared to be just hanging around, perhaps family members and other people who came into the shop, poured themselves a cup of coffee & sat down. I had the impression that they were not clients. Near the end of my brief experience, she asked if the haircut was OK, and I told her that due to the thinning of my hair, I'd like for her to put in some layers, so she quickly put in a few. I was not unhappy with the haircut; however, given what I paid, I felt that I should have received personal attention. I was really hoping to find a stylist with whom I could develop a relationship as I have not had one for some time. (I could have gotten the same service at a quick cut salon for half the price.) I really felt like I was an interloper. It appeared that everyone else in the salon knew each other, and they were very busy talking about people & issues they had in common. I was left out of the conversations. The few comments that I made were totally ignored as though I had never made a sound. I had several other things that I would like to have discussed with a stylist, but I did not feel welcome to do so. Since the cut isn't horrible, I may try them one more time, but I would need to be assured that they have a full staff that day so I wouldn't just be squeezed in. And I may decide not to give them another chance.

She spent fours hours on my hair. I am transitioning from jet black hair to a nice silver toned shaded ombré. Now keep in mind this is quite a process from black to this shade. I am currently a nice golden shade. Shawn was able to achieve an incredible color (shades way lighter) without frying my hair!
