Buying something as expensive and important as a house virtually seemed nuts. But as the new year began we started getting the urge to just take a look. Who knew that within just a few weeks we would have an accepted offer? There is no one else we would have felt comfortable buying remotely with. And the only reason we changed from just looking to seriously buying was because we came to trust and rely on Billy's opinions. He is not just a savvy and knowledgeable realtor, he is truly a sincere and nice guy. He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). But he still commiserated with us when we were outbid and he really went above and beyond when we were searching for the right home. And he really does want to find you the right home. He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions. But Billy makes sure that whatever house you get is a great house and whatever you do is sound and smart. And I'm so glad that he was there with us helping make all our decisions. He would give us daily updates of his endeavors going door to door and networking with other agents. In the end it was a note of his he left on the door of a house that was off the market that did the trick. We were able to buy a house that was miles better than any of the other houses we put offers on with basically no other competition. In the crazy housing market right now you need someone like Billy who is willing to go the extra mile. He was always trying innovative techniques to help us stand out amongst other buyers and that's exactly what it takes these days. He's continued to be invaluable after closing. He was great to bounce ideas around with about updating the house after moving in and he and Heather have been great with recommendations. He is always super responsive and I'm so glad I can still rely on him even after we've closed.

As buyers, he listened closely to what we were looking for, and set up showings for homes that met our parameters! For each and every home we visited, he carefully inspected each property with us and pointed out all of the pluses AND minuses for each home. We bought our new home in a HOT market, and Ryan expertly guided us through the offer process and helped us get a signed purchase agreement on the house we wanted! As for the sale of our former home, Ryan went above and beyond in helping us prepare our house for sale, and marketing it to prospective buyers. He even hired a DRONE to provide prospective buyers with aerial footage of our house and property! He worked with us to set a sales price that would lead to a good number of buyers touring our house. On the FIRST day our house went live on the MLS, we had 10 different showings, resulting in 6 different offers. We ended up selling the house for $50,000 OVER our asking price! Ryan is a rock star at what he does! We can't recommend him enough!

His knowledge, professionalism, and patience made the decision-making and transaction of buying my new home a very smooth and informed one. If I had a question, he'd carefully explain the answer in details to me, and in the rare instance he didn't know, he'd do the research and get back to me. In working with him, it's clear he brings a lot of knowledge to the table about market home values, purchase prices, costs of repairs and renovation, and the buyer and seller. Joe made buying and selling a really pleasant and good experience, in taking on all the heavy work out of the process to make face time with him easy and enjoyable. It's definitely the case that Adrian Realty goes the extra mile to make sure all the boxes are checked and to secure the deal. I'd recommend Joe to a friend for real estate any day!

I have had the opporunity to work with Chris a little more than average in the last year and a…read morehalf. It started with selling my rental property in Robbinsdale... I was ready to move on from being a landlord after 8 years. I was referred to Chris by a client of mine. I was pleased to learn that he himslef was a landlord in the Twin Cities and offered excellent insight regarding what to invest in/not invest in on the property before selling it. He understood that I purchased at the top of the market and was selling for less than a profit and gave me the best advice possible. I was very happy with that sale. Next came my home purchase in 2016. I was looking from out of state and working with Chris. To be fair I would say I was more high maintenance than your avergage client, I wanted a very specific neighborhood, a home that was within my specific price range, and I wanted something with character and city amenitites etc. In addition to that, I would look at any place Chris thought would be a fit, even if it was a bit out of my neighborhood. He let me know that I saw more than the average number of properties, that many people get fatigued after x number. And I agree, I saw an exhasting number of houses, but I had to know. I had to know that I was making the best choice and not jumping in too soon to something. We made/attempted to make a couple of offers and finally got the perfect place in NE! I Couldn't have been happier. I spent 8 months flipping the property and used Chris again to list it. We sold it the first weekend for a great profit. Again, I couldn't have been happier! The selling process was much less taxing on my end, I can't speak for Chris however. After that it was back to the drawing board. I looked at multiple properties, making offers on 2 duplexes, and one condo. One falling through after inspection, one because of a request for a commercial loan, and the last because I wasn't feeling it- and he totally supported that. Chris was very pateint and professional throughout the entire process. I ultimately settled on a single family home. Because I am a neighborhood snob it was the best choice for me. I learned a lot in my year and a half of working with Chris and couldn't be happier with my new place and the knowledge I have gained from him. I HIGHLY recommend working with Chris. He is a pro, he is humorous, he is patient, and he is highly experienced in his field. I joke how I am his apprentice now, but I might not be joking that much. Give him a call and see for yourself. -SIncerely, Diane

Detail Oriented and Long Term Mindset…read more Tim is the most wonderful realtor to work with. He is trustworthy, has expertise, and was looking out for us throughout the process!!! My partner and I are first time homebuyers, and were also living out of state and across the country when we first contacted Tim. We chose him because he was very good with technology that allowed us to look while not physically present. Tim continued to impress with his virtual home review videos and his expert eye to see the costly flaws in a house. He was always available and eager to help! He also helped us through complex circumstances of home buying. There were a few external mishaps and Tim helped us pivot and come up with a strategy for next steps. We extended multiple offers and he made sure we weren't overpaying for anything through back and forth bartering. Some sellers didn't want to work with us or convey the full details of the house and he cut through the unwritten rules of real estate and held other realtors accountable. Tim was very knowledgeable from a contracting perspective too. He had estimated costs for repairs and a great eye to spot flaws in any house. He has a contact list for every repair under the sun and was able to get quotes quickly during the inspection period. Which saved us after a house came back with a terrible inspection! Our home buying process was complex since we initially wanted an investment property then transitioned to making it a primary residence. Tim was very patient with us. I never felt pressure to buy a house I didn't like, or extend an offer higher than I felt comfortable with. He was on our side for the 10 months we spent looking. He also responded very quickly and we were able to extend offers on a quick turnaround which is very important. We got a house we love and we will continue to use Tim for EVERYTHING real estate related!!!

He helped us buy and sell, but this review is focused on the sale of our house. This was our first time selling a house, and we were dreading the process, especially the preparations and the evaluation of (hopefully) multiple offers. Once we started the sale process, Tim walked us through all the what-if scenarios of the entire process, including prep, pre-inspection, listing, and talking through the key details that we'd look for in each offer. He suggested that we do a pre-inspection of the house, which initially seemed odd, but after discussing it a bit we thought it was a good idea. And it turns out it was a great idea, as it really enabled buyers to have confidence in the quality and lack-of-surprises in the home, enabling them to write higher offers and/or waive their inspection period. Our house received multiple offers above list price, including some with waived inspections, and we believe that was due to Tim's great suggestion to do a pre-inspection. Overall we had a good time working with Tim, he was very professional and is a reliable communicator.
