From the very first visit, I was thoroughly impressed. Peter came out to do the initial estimate--he spent over 45 minutes carefully measuring, inspecting, and answering all my questions, including detailed discussions about installing heat cables to prevent ice dams. He was knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, which immediately put me at ease. Given the size and structure of my home, I was initially nervous about how well a gutter system would integrate with a metal roof. But I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The very next day, a well-organized crew of 8 professionals led by Tim arrived with two trucks. They worked hard for nearly 10 hours and completed about 90% of the project in just one day. The team returned the next day to finish the final touches and make adjustments, especially after a rainstorm allowed us to see the system in action. Everything functioned flawlessly. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. Tony (the owner), Peter (the manager), and Tim (the team leader) were all professional, courteous, and committed to quality. What we were looking for are Gutter Guards to help remove that bi-yearly chore of removing leaves from the gutters. I had done a lot of research into the different types available. I received an estimate from one place, next day he calls dropping $800 off. An hour later someone else called from that company telling me a yet lower price, another $250 off. Then the first guy calls back asking if I wanted to move forward. I told him someone else had given me a cheaper price from his company and he had no idea. This triggered my brain to say "Sorry but I'm not going to do anything with your company at all". So now I hear about Lifetime and call Anthony. He called me back the same day, came over the next day with an estimate. His estimate was what I call reasonable for the work to be done. Unfortunately I had to wait about a month due to family matters and finally called him back on a Friday. He told me that he could arrange to have it done the following week. On Tuesday morning he called and asked if we were ok with doing it that day. Out came Anthony #2 to handle the installation. He was fast and extremely friendly and in a few hours time the gutter guards were installed. My final reason for going with this company was the guards are made out of aluminum with a stainless steel mesh on top. The others I looked at were made of plastic with the mesh. My life's experiences have shown that plastic gets brittle when left out in the sun & bad weather, I prefer the all aluminum ones. My experiences with this company have been just fantastic! He showed up on time, the estimate was fair, and they managed to squeeze me into their already busy schedule just three days later. They took lots of pictures before and after, and yes... our gutters were clogged. Not anymore though! The sales person (Jake) who came out to Niskayuna to provide an estimate was very friendly and said all the right things about how TBTJDG values their customers and works to retain your business. We agreed to a scope of work and paid a 50 percent deposit. On install day, the installer decided the scope of work needed to be changed, but didn't bother to contact us to discuss it before moving forward. The result was disastrous. I returned home from work to find two down spouts installed on both sides of the entry in the house in a very odd and unsightly manner. Imagine two very long wings coming out from the side of your house. Upon discovering this, we contacted Jake and he came out to review the situation. The fix we came up with was to extend the unsightly down spouts underground. They had the audacity to charge us to fix the mistake and to make matters worse it still took at least 3 weeks and several calls and text messages for someone to show up to complete the job. Today 2 installers who clearly have little or no experience doing this work showed up and things quickly went from bad to worse. We waited and watched patiently while they lacked the proper equipment and tools to do the job and had to leave several times in search of materials to complete the job. Six hours later we're told that someone else from the company will need to come back to complete the job because these installers were not comfortable with the results. Well guess what....neither are we. I typically don't write reviews good or bad. However, I've remained professional and cordial throughout this several week process, but this is utterly ridiculous. I feel sorry for the installers that came today. They needed guidance and tried to call their boss who couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone or call them back. Ultimately, the job was completed to the best of their ability. One would think that since the initial work didn't go well, they're send experienced installers capable of making things right. I say again, ridiculous. Buyer beware.

This company was an absolute lifesaver!…read more I had recently gotten my gutters installed by another company. The other company did a shoddy job. After a torrential downpour where the water was not going through my gutter properly, I called Northeast Seamless Gutters and spoke to Lori. Even though I'm just outside of their geographical range, they agreed to check out my gutters the next day. When Mike checked my gutters, he found three inches of standing water. He did a thorough inspection of my entire gutter system. In the most problematic area, he repitched my gutter, attached it where it had been left unattached, sealed it, repositioned the flashing so that water would be diverted towards my gutter, and removed a vinyl circle that had been left inside my downspout. He also extended another downspout that was too close to my A/C unit, and put a whole new gutter on top of my shed. All of this was done for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much!

It's exactly where they were working! And, "there's nothing that would have scratched there." It's exactly where the sharp edged gutter was brought up over the railing. I couldn't believe the lack of accountability which continued. They actually tried to say there were other spots along the railing that were banged up, which was actually just not-perfect staining over bumpy wood grain...not the same thing at all as the gauges left. When they offered to stain the railings, I declined, as I just wanted them out as soon as possible after feeling so hoodwinked and disrespected Also attached it a photo of a gutter that they had banged up early in their visit. Though they ended up using it where it couldn't be seen, which is fine, it is proof that there is carelessness involved in their work. I called, talked to a real person, and explained what my problem was. I was informed that their estimator, Oleg, would be contacting me to schedule a visit. I received the call from Oleg not more than 30 minutes later. He was able to schedule a visit later that same day. When Oleg arrived, we reviewed the work that needed to be done. Taking advantage of his presence and knowledge, I pointed out a less urgent problem with the soffit in a different section of the house, and a concern I had with some siding at a third location. He assured me that the two soffit problems could be fixed and that I did not need to be concerned about the siding issue. We then agreed upon a price to do the soffit repairs. I was next actually surprised to see that Oleg was prepared to do the repairs right then and there. He unloaded the necessary ladders, tools, and equipment to safely scale the garage roof and fix my major problem. With that section of soffit resolved he moved to the other side of the house and realigned and secured the other soffit. I can't be more pleased with the service, promptness, and work performed by Saratoga Roofing. Oleg was very personable and a pleasure to work with.

We got prices from three contractors and they were all within a fairly narrow window. We chose Saratoga Roofing primarily based on the quality of the roof inspection. Igor appeared to know what he was talking about, and pointed out both positive and negative things about our old roof that other estimators either didn't see or didn't think was important. We had originally agreed on a date for the work, but then that called to ask if they could move the work forward a few days to avoid a possible weather situation. The crew started arriving at 6:15am and were hard at work by 7am - and they completed the project by 7pm and did a great job of cleaning up. And that was on a day that got well into the 90s. They brought in a large crew - I didn't actually count heads, but there must have been at least 12-15 people. And the way they worked together was amazing to watch - at one point I noted to my wife that it was almost like ballet as they complemented each other. Our roof is complicated - peaks and valleys, and fairly steep. So the bottom line is that we were very pleased with the work they did. I'm sure that there are contractors who might have been less expensive, but this is a job that hopefully we never have to get done again, so I would rather pay a bit more to get it done right.
