After reading the other review, I had to write one. I went to Perry Tech in the early 1990's. I studied Instrumentation and Industrial Controls. I have never been without work since! When you interview, even the first time out of school, the Perry name gets you in the door. I have many friends and coleagues who also attended the same course at Perry, they all agree, "It was the best work decision we have ever made". That's huge. If I could leave 0 or negative 5 stars I would. This joke of a trade school put me through all the steps to get enrolled which is quite a few steps plus a little money and I do all of this and am waiting for the start date patiently just to be informed that they are cancelling the program that I wanted to attend permanently because I am assuming not making enough money or whatever. Would have been nice if they would have let the last class that was all enrolled and ready to go just take the class and be done with it but no sir. I had my doubts about this shithole of a school from the beginning because I had already been getting some bad info back on them but I am veteran and they accept GI bills which is nice but not if they just cancel the program you want to do. Pretty much boils down to money in the end and they aren't making enough off of this program I guess but I bet the president of this shithole trade school is doing pretty well financially. This place is a JOKE! First of all, get ready to NEVER GET A JOB AFTER YOU GRADUATE, secondly, if you are looking to be employed by these hacks, reconsider. I have a very close relative that works there. Not only have they been they most unhappy they have ever been in their life employment wise, but they are constantly worried about whether or not they will have their job tomorrow. This person is extremely devoted and hard working, their students absolutely adore them, and they don't get involved in your typical work environment politics. My relative was recently asked to pay an extreme amount of money to take a test that 5% of people pass on the first time. FIVE PERCENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were then told, if they didn't pass, they would be fired. This test not only has no value towards this persons job, but it also is something they should be paying for if they would like to have them further trained. Then, when another coworker failed it (for the third time, mind you) they let that person try AGAIN and my relative is going to get laid off even though they were 3 answers shy of passing this test on the FIRST try! They pull their employees emotions around, and as you can see, clearly play favorites. I know many people that have spent entirely too much money to go to this Hell hole, and now have nothing but debt to show for it because they can't get jobs in their field of study.
