Poor staff. My daughter fell and hit her head and pictures of her were on Snapchat. Indidnt receive a phone call regarding the incident. My daughter would cry and scream every day at drop off. Switched her to Carroll Children's Center and she flourished there! I would not recommend KinderCare. read more

I would definitely recommend this place to any Parent! Both our boys went here up until Kindergarten, starting at ages 2 and 4, and I was never concerned for their safety, or the type of care they were receiving! I was very well informed of how their days went, and the types of activities they did during their day/week. My youngest became very attached to his teacher - so much so that when he was supposed to be in the next class up, they would allow him to be in his old class for a day, if other kids were absent. I say that to show just how much they care about the kids and just how much our boys loved being there. Everyone on staff is always genuinely nice and everything about the facility is well ran and taken care of! I wouldn't have chosen any other place to take my boys before Kindergarten!! My son went to kindercare from 4 months-17 months old. He would have continued, but we chose to have him stay home due to the pandemic. I can not speak highly enough about Kindercare. Just like most moms, it was initially hard to leave him at daycare. that quickly faded when I saw how much they loved him. They never made me feel like he was a bother or a "job". I honestly believe that they loved my baby. I joke that his favorite people in order were me, his dad, followed by Teacher Joanna. As happy as I am to have him home with me, I am equally sad to no longer be a part of the Kindercare family. I wouldn't hesitate to take either of my boys back in the future. read more

Our child has attended KinderCare since he was 6 months old. Taking your child to daycare is hard, and leaving them with strangers is even harder. KinderCare has made that transition incredibly easy not only for us as parents, but for our child as well. In each room he has been in, he has been cared for by loving, child-centric teachers who treat him as their own family. Our son looks forward to going to school every single day, and that is not something a toddler can fake. I cannot say enough good things about all of the people at this center. From the top down, they have exceeded every expectation we have had for a childcare center. I enthusiastically recommend KinderCare to anyone who asks us about child care and will continue to sing their praises whenever asked. This Kindercare is absolutely the best. The teachers and Manager here have always been very accommodating, friendly and supportive of our almost 3 year old. Any concerns we have had have been addressed. They have a fantastic breakfast and lunch menu, that our child loves. Our son has made some really good friends. He is excited to go to school and wants to stay for as long as he can. Anyone who complains about the cost, obviously has never sent their child to a daycare outside of Yakima. After having spending TWICE as much for a below average daycare in the Greater Seattle area, we are absolutely over the moon excited to send him to Kindercare on Summitview. They do arts and crafts nearly every day. All of the teachers get involved with the children and do a great job keeping our youngsters learning. Each month there is a new educational topic that they focus on in his pre-school class. He plays with his friends on the playground outside. They dance, sing and read books. I really can't say enough positive/good things about this location. I love that they have the added security of having a code that you enter to get in the building. At the moment, with COVID, parents are not allowed inside, but this is okay and we are also appreciative of the extra precautionary measures put in place. read more

All they want it just your money!! They don't care about your kids.. When I would pick up my kids my son would not have any training diapers but strange enough he would always be out of training diapers.. The staff is not friendly at all, the facility is so dirty. Bathrooms were so gross and smelly. Had to remove my kids from this place. This place is just about money no doubt, tried to call corporate for a return on a summer fee that since my kids will no longer be attend they found any excuse in the book to not return the money, when I gave them a verbal explanation that my kids will no longer be attending. Save your time and don't send your kids here. read more

This place a few years back used to be the most amazing learning center in Yakima. Since my youngest started going there I've noticed it's become less about the kids, and more about the $$$. They have a security code to get in which I appreciated but at the same time if I needed to talk to someone I always felt I had to track them down not knowing anyone's names. None of the teachers there really impressed me like they had a few years back when my oldest attended. And the new manager seems to only be concerned w money. DSHS had messed up paperwork and I ended up owing 500$ for a week of my child going there until dahs fixed the mistake . So we made payment arrangements. I paid on time if not always early. But half way through this arrangement, I get told I will be sent to collections if I don't pay the remaining balance all at once!!!!!???? But I had never missed a payment and I had made this arrangement w them and it was fine until now?!?!?! The managers excuse was my current amount wasn't sufficient enough .... But THEY came up w the agreement on what I paid!!!!! I can see she's going to run that place biased off of money not kids. Sad because it used to be an amazing daycare that loved the kids and wasn't looked at as a $ sign. read more

KinderCare has been fantastic! We moved to Yakima from California and were having trouble finding a daycare that could take our toddler and infant on short notice. Bridgett, the director, was a life saver, she accepted our kids over the phone to start Monday so we could both go to work and then made the time to meet with us that week to get acquainted. She and the entire staff have done a great job with our kids. They send home adorable pictures of the kids every few days so we can see what they're up to during the day. Our 8 month old has been doing great. They send home a detailed report every day showing what she ate, when she napped, how many wet/poopy diapers she had during the day. Our toddler comes home with artwork daily and she is learning as much or more than she did at the expensive Montessori school she was going to in Berkeley, CA. We can't say enough good things about Bridgett and KinderCare. Our kids love going there! read more
