So after a while ended up taking my kids out and switching them. I had totally forgotten about her doing that and probably should have wrote a review right after it happened but I was just happy taking them out but also I think they should hold their staff accountable and be more professional hope this helps! :)

I have one with ADHD who needs support in slowing down and focusing and my other kiddo who is just about the opposite but needs just as much support and encouragement. Gabby was able to quickly determine the best approach for each of them. She was so patient and kind and found every moment possible to be a teachable one. They excelled and became more confident, excited to learn, and gained skills to help them thrive on their own. Gabby is not your average childcare provider. She goes above beyond and cares for each kiddo as if they were her own. She helps with homework, does the cutest arts and crafts with them, has the coolest play area, a lil mini library, teaches Spanish and ASL, sings and dances with them, has great healthy food options for the kiddos, knows how to be silly and playful while also teaching valuable life skills along the way. They said that was fine and they would work with her. I was also told there was openings for her to enroll if she liked the trial. We did the trial and she did well during her trial. After the trial, I stopped at the front desk to enroll her and the lady told me to hold on a second that she needed to talk to the lady that gave the class to my child to see in wich age group she would be placed, well the lady came back and told me that sorry but they dont have any spots left for her, which it was totally a lie because she had told me over the phone prior to the trial that they were accepting new kids. I understand my child can be difficult at times and that is why I was upfront with them and my child was actually really good during trial. She is now at Gymnastics plus in Yakima and the instructors work with her delays and are great.

Multiple times I received falsified reports from the director of the facility. when I confronted her on the falsified reports she had no answer. During my daughter's attendance at this school she was personally assaulted by a specific teacher who no longer works at the facility, the teacher was investigated by the Department of Child protective services for her abuse of small children. When my concerns were expressed to the CEO of Easter Seals they were minimized and disregarded so I withdrew my daughter from the school. Nothing was ever done by Easter Seals or Janes House to protect the children who are currently in attendance at the school.( cameras are cheap and easy) I suggested installing cameras for the children's safety and was told that was not an option. I hope changes have been made to protect the children as child safety was NOT high priority. This was my experience with Easter Seals Janes House and I would say spend some time in the facility before you even consider this place

They were very very bad at…read morehaving non medical personal hand out medication in the mornings (half the time they didnt show up at the house to hand out my daughters meds before she would get picked up to go to Plymouth for her IOP classes. Same thing would go for her nightly meds. They don't read the labels on bottles as to what the dose is to be. She was put 9n a new medication before bed. She was to have 1/2 tablet at bedtime and to stop her sleep meds. They gave her two nights in a row an entire pill along with still giving her the sleep aid med.. when I picked her up the day after the 1st night of having the wrong dose. I picked her up for a dr appt in the morning. She was slurring her words. She would get agitated very easily she was overdosed by that woman in the house that gave her the meds. That night a new woman came there was a note attached to her meds about paying attention to dosing on her labels. And not to give the sleep aid. Once again she was over dosed. It caused her to be agitated among the other girls in the house which caused some issues and she gets kicked out without even being able to give her side of the story. She was put out on the street she was given 5 mins to pack her things and leave. I have no idea right now where my daughter is staying. Shes not answering her phone. I've been in contact with the behavioral center in Plymouth. IN and they were working feverishly to try to find her safe lodging until they can get her into another house that is managed better. After reading another persons review I wonder just how this in patient house is able to even remain open. My daughter has severe depression and she could have OD'd with getting the wrong dose along with a sleep aid that was told to discontinue. She could have possibly died because of this if it continued happening. You trust your daughters life in the care of these people and this is what happens. Please start getting nurses to hand out meds. Dont put court ordered girls in with girls who need and want the help. They dont mix. They conieve amongst themselves and try to blackmail the good girls into something and if they don't cooperate they tell lies to get you kicked out like what happened with my daughter. Only 12 bunkbeds at this facility so that means 22 girls. My daughter and 2 other girls were the only ones that wanted to be there of their own free will because they want to get better not because they were ordered by a judge you attend this house and classes or you go to jail.. its just wrong

She helped us get use to the equipment and taught us how to use everything correctly in order to prevent injury. The value for her services was on target with other trainers in the area.
