However, the amount of burning I felt in my eyes while she was applying the lashes was so terrible. I know you usually experience burning because there is lash glue being applied but this was one of the worst experiences I have had. Since I had so much burning in my eyes, I didn't notice the imperfections of the lashes until I left the place. When I got home and started inspecting my lashes, I noticed that some were already falling out, some lashes were glued crooked and there were patchy areas. I get my eyelashes done often enough to know that this is unacceptable. Not only that but they feel crunchy and not soft and it hasn't even been a week since I have gotten them done. There are plenty of other places to get your lashes done in Main Street that does a better job than this spot.

And she got the glue in my eyes, and she kept pinching my skin to get rid of the glue. It was so painful, and I was keeping crying. The glue that they used has very intense smells and it smells like a burning plastic! I bought 90 cashmere eyelash extensions, she definitely didn't do 90 for each of my eyes, and she didn't use cashmere eyelash. Don't go to this shady place with shady people doing shady service!

In cosmetology, a single-process service means one all-over color, but the staff explained it was only a root touch-up. The wash and overall service also felt rushed and incomplete. If the salon cannot provide the full service at the Groupon price, it would be better to adjust or remove the offer so customers know exactly what to expect. While the staff were polite, the experience felt more focused on the coupon limitations than on delivering the promised service. I do want to thank the gentleman who kindly gave my sister a hair mask--it was probably the only part that felt truly worth the money. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I believe it's important to share an honest account so others can make an informed decision.

I signed up for several services.  I had scheduled a Contouring facial, which I enjoyed very much.  Stephanie has a very good firm yet gentle touch and checked in with me periodically to see if I was good with the pressure/touch she was applying. I also scheduled lash extensions.  Hailey did a lovely job, doing a soft, not overly-dramatic look for me, just as I requested. The Brow Lamination, sadly, didn't pan out for me.  Within a few minutes of Stephanie applying the solution to my eyebrows, I began to feel uncomfortable, my skin felt very hot and tingly.  Stephanie promptly removed the solution and we agreed that my skin was too sensitive for this particular treatment. The spa itself is lovely, clean and bright.  I felt I was in very good hands with both Stephanie and Hailey.  I plan to return to try the other facials in the future, including the Rejuvenating facial, the Signature facial and the Glass Skin facial, along with re-doing my lashes when the time comes.  I'm so happy to have found a local Bronx business for my lash and skincare treatments, saving me both time and money versus having to travel to Manhattan, I'm a big fan of trying to support local businesses in general, but especially women- and minority-owned businesses.

The issue I had was that my lashes started falling out much earlier than expected, literally within the first few days going into the second week, even though I do not wear makeup, do not use any oil-based products, and did not rub my eyes. Lashes are not supposed to fall out this quickly, which was disappointing given how beautiful they looked initially.
