As required we scheduled an appointment to try on life jackets. They didn't have a mirror to see how the life jackets looked on us. The salesperson blamed it on the Pandemic. We also planned to look at kayaks, but, after the experience with life jackets, we changed our minds. Here is a sample comment from the salesperson, "Unless you want to get run over by a boat I wouldn't recommend a grey life jacket." Really? Needless to say we will take our business elsewhere.

*This review is for Jet Ski rentals*…read more I have been going to Hampton Beach my life. And one hour with Adventure Charters warped my whole vision of what Hampton had to offer. What do I know about jet skis? Pretty much nothing. I have a driver's license but I've never driven anything more exotic than a go-kart or a vespa. So when my boyfriend suggesting renting jet skis during our vacation my immediate reaction was to LEAP at the suggestion and then slowly return to reality. 1. I have no idea how to ride one 2. I may get eaten by sharks (I just watched Shark Week!). So we called up Adventure Charters (the only place in Hampton Beach that rents jet skis). They were super friendly and answered all of my questions thoroughly and pleasantly. Since I don't have a boating license, I'd have to fill out a quick test to give me a 14 day temporary license. Then it's $85/hour per jet ski, no matter how many people on the jet ski. That sounds great. Flash forward to August when we walk past all the deep sea fishing shacks. We were greeted by the friendly and genuinely pleasant people working there who explained the little instruction book and test. Test took maybe 15 minutes and cost $20 to take. But no worries, that fee is applied toward the jet ski fee. Then we paid the $500 deposit on each jet ski and the remaining $65 per jet ski. The place provides life jackets, which you must wear, and wet suits, which are optional. I thought we'd need them since NH is notorious for FREEZING COLD lips turning purple water. But not so. The man who took us to the dock was so nice and put all my fears to rest. He even took our pictures on the jet ski and put them on their facebook wall for us to see later. (we couldn't find a water-proof disposable camera on the way there. boo) ZOMG jet skis are my favorite thing in the world. About halfway through our hour, i stopped the jet ski, turned to my boyfriend and insisted that we buy one (ok maybe two) for ourselves. I felt so safe. It was so easy to handle. And we went speeeeding through the waves. An hour was a perfect amount of time. There's a little clock on the "dashboard" next to the speedometer to keep track of when you need to return. We had plenty of time to test our courage and have fun and get back on time. We then walked, back returned the life jackets, got our things (which they were nice enough to keep behind the counter so they were not destroyed). We started planning next year's trip as we walked out the door. Nothing negative to say about this company!

The locale is a well kept secret with the exception of Crane's beach. At the same time, they require a firm and complete knowledge of basic sailing and safety. The conditions for sailing and boating are excellent. The setting is beautiful and the sunsets every night are picturesque. The youth sailing program is the absolute best in New England. I have put three of my four kids through it. The fourth will be old enough to enter it next year. The sailing is in the ocean and participants should be comfortable swimming. All of my kids that have gone through the program have all greatly matured and had loads and loads of fun. Notably, after learning at IPYC, they can sail ANYWHERE!! The wait list is worth getting on. In the meantime if you have kids - sign them up for the youth sailing program.

We had already agreed to buy the boat and he caught it before we picked up the boat. The owner was not cooperative in fixing the problem and Larry, and his amazing staff (Ginette was an amazing help!) took it upon themselves to remedy the situation and swallowed the cost to fix it. I will absolutely recommend him to friends and family!

This hidden gem is tucked away, off Pleasant Valley Rd in Amesbury, behind the mill building luxury condos. It's such a fun community here, where everybody is friends and everybody helps each other out. They run a very tight ship here, and everything is always clean and maintained. There's always a dockhand working, to help you out with whatever you need, which I love because I'm not the best at docking! They also have super clean restrooms and showers available. Paula is usually at the desk, and has always been helpful (and fun to chat with). If you are looking for a beautiful, clean spot to keep your boat, with friendly and helpful staff, Hatters Point is the place for you!

I reserved an evening cruise for a surprise engagement and they were both very interesting, polite and welcoming people. My guests were blown away by the experience and I hit it out of the park with my surprise, my fiance loved it. I spoke with Capt. Claude before hand and even though I didn't need to ask for much I felt that they were welcoming and would do anything to make the experience a memorable one. Even a last minute request made within reason was accomodated. First of all the boat is beautiful, and it's big and I think that 6-10 people could comfortably enjoy a cruise with out feeling cramped. Every one of my guests were excited and comfortable. ..light snacks were provided and drinks were made available even though this was BYOB. Don't worry about utensils like I did, there were glasses for the toast and champagne had i forgotten to get some. I will spare no praises in saying that they certainly made this experience as easy as possible for me and I appreciate it.
