Long review! Read if considering Greg for: asylum cases, marriage based green cards, anything involving going to court, anything involving having an excellent immigration lawyer. Greg has been our immigration lawyer for a while now, and during this time we've gotten to see him in different situations: First, he helped me with an asylum claim that I then withdrew after we filed for a marriage-based green card. At some point while waiting for our interview I was wrongfully given a deportation hearing even though I was still in F1 student status, and Greg swept in to help me through that too. Here's what we have to say about him: - When preparing the asylum case he was tactful and thorough. As I weighed the option of withdrawing my petition in favor of a marriage-based green card after my wedding, he was straightforward with the pros- and cons and gave me good advice. - It was my husband who first saw the notice that I was being summoned to court for a deportation hearing, he was going through our mail after getting home from work (so it was after work hours). By the time my husband called me to let me know that was happening (maybe 8pm?), he had already been on the phone with Greg. That was a stressful and confusing night and it was incredibly comforting to know Greg had been available to speak to us by phone as the situation unfolded. He was calm when we were not and patient with our questions. He followed up with emails and basically did what you would hope any good lawyer would do: he took our scary frightening problem and made it his problem and dealt with it. - On the day of my hearing Greg was there before us, making sure my case was discussed first. He *rocked*. He was extremely professional and well-prepared and my case was successfully resolved in my favor in minutes. He brought with him that day a huge binder filled with paperwork that really brought home to me how much behind the scenes work had been put into making that brief hearing go as efficiently and successfully as it did.
