The strongest recommendation I've ever given on Yelp - for any immigration issue, any worry at all (and you probably should worry under the current regime and environment), this is the guy you should hire. He's cheaper than most but better than all of them. He does it himself and there won't be any interns or half-ass jobs in this case. The younger of the Gottfried & Gottfried partnership (his father Robert is the elder), they caught my eye when I was looking for the very best immigration lawyer to process my citizenship application, which was very, very, very, very long overdue since I've lived in America my entire adult life. He's never lost an immigration case and I expect that amazing hundred percent record to continue because he's just that guy. The massive irony is that he is such a nice guy that he refuses to overcharge so he's actually cheaper than some of the much less involved much less proficient immigration lawyers who just make the trainees do all the work and reap all the benefits. What can I say about my lawyer that hasn't already been said? Hmm, he's a brilliant Lacross player. Idk if that's true, I just wanted to say something that hadn't been said. So I had a very tricky immigration case and was scared. There were a lot of different reasons that I was worried - Trump had just gotten into power, and my Middle Eastern background. Immigration became a lot harder under Trump. I was sh** scared to the point where it was hard even to enjoy any given day of my life because of my fear and worry about this. After exhaustive, endless deliberation and research, I went with this guy and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. So let me save you all of the deliberation and research and exhaustion... just use mine on your behalf. This is the guy to hire. End of story. Half the price of some other "top" lawyers and yet he is better than them *and* he handles the cases himself, which virtually no top lawyer does (they delegate to kids and trainees). He made everything simple and straightforward and was a really great guy to deal with. He's a straight-talker, there's no bull**** with this one. So not a typical lawyer at all then. He set my mind at ease but without lying to me. He soothed my fears (OK this sounds romantic, I get it, it wasn't, now STFU). He assured me he would be handling my case personally, and he did (settle down). He is without a doubt the best immigration attorney I've ever dealt with (male), although the girl with the heels, whom some of you appreciate, was a lawyer (Ivy League trained), so she's obvi my fave. But not because she's a lawyer. In any case - he even went with me to the interview, even though such a thing is not technically part of his job, for a negligible fee, and he gave me a lot more confidence at the interview which in turn I think helped me do a good job. Afterwards I was not approved for citizenship instantly (I freaked out so hard) and I was totally freaked out (I said that already). David merely rolled his eyes and told me not to worry about it. So calm. As he predicted, the very next morning my citizenship was approved. He has a NY attitude and laser focus on winning and the details of the law. His 100% record is no surprise. In fact, the only time (out of 100s) that his client wasn't approved for citizenship, he fought it in the Supreme Court and got it duly overturned. He probably forgot that I was going to send him a huge tip which he insisted I not do because it wasn't necessary (who says don't tip me? He's so nice it's ridic). Or maybe he thought that I decided against it. I hope he'll be happy when it randomly shows up one of these days. I consider him a friend (I don't have many) (sob). I'd have paid 5 times as much for him. The tipping/paying extra stuff is a big deal for me, as I literally don't have spare money (regardless of rumours to the contrary), which shows how highly I value his service. You should come and get serviced too. I strongly recommend that everybody and their mother come here and see David. He's just that good. Unless your mother is already a citizen. In which case don't waste your money. He's handled so many of these cases that he knows this stuff like the back of his hand. Assuming that he knows the back of his hand very well.
