She took the time to show me different ideas and what would look better for me and had a pretty good selection for me to choose from. For me the store was quaint and I did not feel overwhelmed. there was definitely no pressure on what to buy. It was all about what I thought was good for me. The value of the wig was comparable so that was not a problem. I will definitely recommend the store to any cancer patient there's enough stress with the condition without having extra stress about purchasing a product.

We went in back so she could trim it a little as it was very long for my taste. She grabbed a hank and started chopping on it. The wig was not secure on my head. I watched in horror. Then I asked her to stop. I took it home and fixed it as best I could, it doesn't look terrible. It also cannot be styled with a low iron. It melts. This is a garbage wig. I ended up with bangs because they did not have any lace front. They tried to tell me this one was. I have watched videos. This is not a lace front wig. Imagine my surprise when my insurance company was charged $500 for a $100 at the most wig. I feel like I was taken advantage of because of my compromised position. I would not recommend anyone use this business. They promised me they would order some wig shampoo as they were out, three weeks later the woman tells me use Dawn dish soap. That's the kind of professional treatment I won't go back for.

I love to see those business do well, have success and become a long time fixture in a community. But I also won't life or color outside the lines. The merch they sell is fun and can all be personalized. The shop is small, I mean narrow, so if more than 2 people are there it seems crowded to almost claustrophobic. They do personalize almost everything they sell, so that is pretty nice (t--shirts, hats, sweats) and have a variety of sizes and colors. The prices are a tad steep on some items, almost too cheap on others. My experinces have been positive, but not always successful as I have looked for things there I couldn't find. Yet I know not all local and touristy gift shops can be all things to all people. I like this place, all in all. If you are looking for Sarasota or FL merch go here. It's authentic and not "Wal-Mart" mass generated made in China slop.
