They even go the extra mile of placing your purchase in an adorable little gift box with the MIA logo on it. But even all those great things about its exterior will not allow me to give this place a good review due to one horrid fact: the quality of their jewelry is terrible! At least that's been my experience with 3 out of 3 items purchased there. One of them was just sitting in my jewelry box for a week and it started to turn green. Their jewelry is comparable to the quality of Forever 21 jewelry but without the ultra-cheap price, so sad.

Yelp Review 2026 #218:…read more I was very impressed by this mall. I felt like I was in a different country with all the nice shops and eateries. Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Hermes, Jimmy Choo, Saint Laurent, Fendi, Armani, Lacoste, Lululemon, Alo, Nike, Charlotte Tilbury, Apple, Sephora, Eataly, Laderach, etc. Restaurants include Japanese, Italian, Latin, etc. They have a food hall called Treats that has everything: Chinese, Japanese, pizza, Cuban sandwich, bakery, Jamaican, etc. But what caught my attention was all the artwork spread throughout Aventura Mall. From Takashi Murakami, Austin Lee, Robert Indiana, and 23 other pieces by different artists in a series they call ArtWalk. They're very dog-friendly. We saw hundreds of dogs and their humans - not sure if there was an event or if this was just the norm here. But it was fun to watch cute little puppies. I visited during the World Cup and they had an area dedicated for it. They had a pop-up FIFA store which had items I wanted but haven't found at the stadiums. The mall is bright with natural lighting during the day. Nice and cool which is a nice reprieve from the unforgiving sun and summer heat. It's spacious and clean.

I am writing to you today with a mix of sadness and utter astonishment to leave a formal record of…read morea highly distressing incident that occurred at your Aventura Mall store in Florida. Today, June 6, 2026, at approximately 2:45 p.m., I visited your store with the intention of purchasing a new Blancpain X Swatch watch. Additionally, I brought along an older Swatch watch that I have owned for many years. I am a passionate watch enthusiast and collector; my personal collection ranges from Swatch to luxury brands such as Bell & Ross, Cartier, Panerai, and Rolex. The Swatch watch in question was a gift I bought for my son years ago, aiming to inspire his own love for horology. The watch needed a new strap, so I asked the sales associate if he had a replacement. He informed me they did not have the exact match but offered to try a similar one. To do this, he removed the spring bar. Unfortunately, the alternative strap did not fit. When he attempted to put the watch back together as it originally was, he used improper technique and bent the spring bar. My complaint is not primarily about the associate's mistake. I understand that accidents can happen to personnel who may lack proper training. In fact, he attempted to push the pin against the wall right in front of me, and the misplaced force inevitably bent it. While it is frustrating that the store did not carry a spare part to fix what they had just broken--leaving my watch in worse condition than when I arrived--the associate at least felt remorseful and even offered to pay for it out of his own pocket. The real issue, and the reason for my profound indignation, was the unacceptable behavior of the store manager. When I calmly brought the damage to her attention, her response was to shout at me and threaten me, simply because I was pointing out that they had damaged my property. As a long-time customer, I find this completely shocking for three main reasons: Lack of Training: A Swatch store should not employ staff who lack the basic technical training to handle minor watch repairs safely. Lack of Resources: The store did not have basic spare parts to immediately resolve damage caused by their own employee's poor practices. Abuse from Management: The most unacceptable part of this experience was being subjected to a manager who was rude, discourteous, and threatening toward me, the aggrieved customer. Faced with this hostile environment, I chose to take my damaged watch and leave. I did not feel safe or well-treated, and I am not accustomed to engaging in low-class, confrontational arguments. It is deeply disappointing that, as a loyal customer of many years, a single critical interaction like this can completely ruin a lifetime brand experience.

Some of the clothing here is like, "Really, you can wear that?!?" kind of vibes. Lol. But aside from the more crazy styles, they keep it simple with crop tops, tank tops, tees, dresses, jeans, sweatshirts, accessories, hats, and jewelry. Some of the tees are actually cute and funny. I saw one I would have gotten if it wasn't a cropped top and it said, "Not Today"! Lol. I ended up getting the NY red hat this time around even though we were shopping for my teenage daughter. I wouldn't normally spend this much on a hat but honestly, I really loved the vibrant red. Red is my favorite color, especially this shade of red. Pac Sun across the way had the same hat in a maroon color and on sale but I opted to pay full price for the beautiful red hat at Garage. Lordy!

One poorly managed store can damage the reputation of the entire brand. Customers don't separate…read moreone location from another they associate their experience with Alo as a whole. Experiences like this create doubt and make loyal customers reconsider where they spend their money. I am a long-time, loyal Alo customer, which is why this experience at the Aventura location is so disappointing. I've shopped at other Alo stores like Merrick Park and the Design District, and the customer service there is excellent and aligns with the brand's premium image. Unfortunately, the Aventura location does not meet that standard at all. I originally purchased the red Accolade set online, but sizing varies across colors. I own multiple sets in medium and large that fit similarly, so I ordered a large in red but it arrived extremely oversized. When I went to exchange it, I was told the red collection had already been sent back on March 12, so I couldn't exchange for the same item. I then exchanged for the Airbrush Sparks Fly Corset Onesie (size small), assuming it would fit like other Alo onesies I own. It did not--the chest area runs much smaller--so I had to return it. I had used a $25 Alo coupon on my original purchase, and that credit carried over to my new purchase. When I came to the Aventura location to exchange the onesie for the Serenity Oatmeal set, I simply asked if the $25 could be applied so I wouldn't lose the benefit. My purchase was going to be over $500 (set, socks, hat), so this was a reasonable request. Instead, I received extremely poor customer service from both the manager, Alondra, and the general manager, Kenny. Alondra was dismissive, passive-aggressive, and spoke in a condescending tone. She made false claims about my account, stating I had multiple returns and referencing issues with lost packages none of which is true. I had just made that purchase in-store at Merrick Park with no issues, so this information was inaccurate and concerning. When I asked to speak with the general manager, Kenny, the situation did not improve. He displayed the same attitude and made no effort to resolve the issue or even acknowledge the misinformation stated by the first manager .There was no professionalism, no accountability, and no attempt to provide a solution. Because of how I was treated, I chose not to complete my $500+ purchase and left the store. That sale was lost entirely due to management's behavior. After this experience, I reviewed other feedback for this location and saw similar complaints about poor customer service. This appears to be a pattern. For a brand that sells $100+ clothing and markets itself as premium, the customer experience at this location does not match the brand at all. Customers should not be spoken down to, dismissed, or misrepresented when spending their money. I will not return to the Aventura location, and this experience has made me seriously reconsider supporting the Alo brand moving forward.
