Found out a gutter block was on top of a sprinkler head after speaking to my yard guy, who is familiar with gutters/sprinkler systems. He showed me how the block caused a small leak in the sprinkler head. So I contacted the owner, and he started questioning me. And not in a caring way but rude and demeaning. He stated why the builder would place the sprinkler next to the home. Asking me question's like I had the answer to what the builder did or did not do. I felt patronized and was sick of him pointing the finger instead of coming up with a reasonable solution. I told him how I felt and why he questioned me like I created the problem. We got quotes from a few people and this company, Pearland Custom Gutters, was quoting us on the higher side. Well first off, his team was over an hour late and they did not contact us to let us know. WE had to call THEM. Next, the owner Greg Everett showed up once they were done and refused to honor the $100 discount we had agreed upon because he "just found out I can't put a sign to advertise in your yard due to HOA restrictions," which was how we were going to get that $100 off. He also had his team put up extra (?) downspouts/material to "make up for this increased cost" that we did NOT request and he did NOT inform or ask us about. I mentioned that his prices are already more expensive than most and he made a comment along the lines of, "well I'm not Jose's gutter service and I don't send my money to Mexico," which is INCREDIBLY uncalled for and racist. The work they did seems fine, but I would not recommend this dishonest and unprofessional company. Overpriced compared to other RELIABLE companies in the area, and unpleasant to deal with to boot. They are just freaking gutters man... no need for all of this BS.

The gutter work was first rate. The owner, I think his name is Terry has been in business for at least 30 years because he put gutters on my parents house when I was a youngster so I know he has seen it all.
