Everyone previously would charge me over $200 for a diagnostic, find nothing, and state that they drove it around the block and didn't see any problems (duh). So I'd accepted it would never be fixed. Fast forward to now, it became an unavoidable issue so I reached out to multiple places to describe the issue and get some opinions. Jack was very responsive and immediately had a recommendation before even looking at my car. I brought it in for a $155 diagnostic, and if they couldn't fix it I wouldn't be charged. Unlike other places, they drove my car over 100 miles to try to replicate the issue! Although they still couldn't replicate it, they looked into my vehicle's service history and walked me through their recommendations. We went with Jack's original recommendation, there was a fast turnaround, and my car now been fine. He was spot-on before even looking at my car. I had a terrible time with the gentleman who owned the shop in front of theirs, who lied and told me I was in the right place, which wasn't corrected until I called Fremont Auto Center looking for an update. Jack personally went next door to check on my car, and offered me 10% off repairs. I was told I could drop my car off the next day without needing another appointment. I met Sal, who has such a wonderful and charming personality, and it was great to meet Jack in person, too. Within an hour, I had the full analysis and estimate, and around 2:30, a couple of hours before closed, I was called and told the car wouldn't be finished, and asked if I'd like to come pick it up for the weekend (which I declined, we didn't need it!). The prices were fair, and their system of telling you what absolutely needs work versus what they recommend to be worked on was so great in helping me understand what was wrong with the car. My experience with them made me tell my husband that I'd drive to them if we ever moved out of the area. I can't recommend this place enough (just make sure you drive all the way to the green building and dont let anyone stop you like I did!)

Their customer service is excellent. They are kind, compassionate, and courteous, asking if myself or anyone was hurt in the accident and affirming my feelings. They set clear expectations for me and proactively provided updates when they knew more about what work needed to be done and how long it would take. I write this review about a week after picking up my car from them. This was the second time I've needed to take my car to DG Auto; the first was a few years ago for a similar collision. And their quality remains as high as it was before.
